Title: Life is wonderfull Post by: Annahavil on December 31, 2007, 06:59:48 PM Yes folks, it really is. We need to count our blessings. Despite my quite severe eczema I enjoy life so much. Since coming here to the beautifull Lake District I dont get bored as much as back in N. Ireland. I needed a change and I needed most of all a closer walk with my Lord and Saviour. My church here, is Evangelical. A modest ordinary sort of Evangelical if you know what I mean. I love the house group. It meets every 2 weeks or so. I say that because it is not every 2 weeks. I do a little Bible study when I can. Mainly comes from what I am reading in the Bible from daily reading or maybe something interesting the pastor mentions. Apart from that I love T.V. and record some programmes I miss while at work. I also record some radio programmes for listening to in the car. At work in a supermarket I have to listen to constant music. This music gets boring at times but you get used to it. Maybe if there wasent any I would be more bored. much more I could tell you. Main thing is to enjoy your interests and hobbies. If you have any problem etc. just take it to the Lord in prayer. That is what he wants. Our dear Lord wants us to be happy and enjoy life. Most of all of course he wants us to do more in life. He has plans for us all.
Title: Re: Life is wonderfull Post by: nChrist on December 31, 2007, 08:16:16 PM Hello Annahavil,
Many of us have health issues, and we'll pray for you. One of my favorite things to do is Bible Study, and I get all kinds of good ideas from Christians Unite every day. I use a free Bible Study package called e-Sword that you can read about in the "Computers and Software" section. Everything is completely free except some third party add-ons that some people want to add, but there are thousands of free resources for e-Sword. Most people have no need or desire to use the pay add-ons. It comes with literally everything the average person could want: many choices of Bibles, dictionaries, commentaries, topic notes, maps, etc. It all works together on one screen of your computer and makes Bible Study much easier. The next time you feel bored, download e-Sword from the link below and give it a try. Love In Christ, Tom (http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i160/tlr10/speci/Speci002.gif) |
