An senior citizen in one Illinois city will now be able to hold Bible studies in her public housing project after officials had denied her that right for seven years. For the past seven years, a resident of the SilverTrees Apartment complex in Richmond, Illinois, had wanted to hold a Bible study in the community room of the complex. However, officials with the McHenry County Housing Authority repeatedly denied her request, saying church and state could not be mixed in public housing. After being contacted about the matter, Orlando-based Liberty Counsel sent a demand letter to the Housing Authority, outlining the constitutional rights of the elderly woman. Liberty Counsel founder Mat Staver says the situation has been resolved, and that the woman who prohibited the Bible studies has been removed from her position with the Housing Authority. "Seniors living in public housing facilities have just as much right to have Bible studies as you and I who live in private homes," Staver explains. "Our client obviously is thrilled with the fact that the seven-year journey has now come to an end -- and we are pleased that the McHenry County Housing Authority, after receiving our demand letter, removed the tyrant who banned Bible studies for seven long years." According to Staver, it is unfortunate but not uncommon that officials at some public housing facilities prevent common rooms to be used for religious meetings. But the attorney suggests he would not be as patient as the SilverTrees Apartment tenant. "I would not wait for seven years," he says. "I would not wait for seven days to resolve this." The Bible lessons will start next month. One doesn't have to be very old to remember much better times in this country. Both of us spent most of our lives in circumstances where someone trying to stop a Bible Study was unheard of. This manufactured LIE of Separation of Church and State is used so often that average people think it actually exists. It doesn't exist and it never did - plain and blunt! It would be wonderful if large numbers of people could hear the TRUTH. Thomas Jefferson was the so-called author of Separation of Church and State that doesn't exist. A personal letter from Thomas Jefferson was used to manufacture this twisted lie. It wasn't the Constitution, the Law, and it certainly wasn't the meaning or intent of Thomas Jefferson. BLUNTLY, Separation of Church and State is the biggest LIE and HOAX ever shoved down the throats of a free people. Thomas Jefferson was also in charge of Capital Schools when he served as President of the United States. Thomas Jefferson placed the Holy Bible and Isaac Watts Hymnal in Capital Schools for every day use. Church Services were held in Capital Buildings owned by the public, so where did this HUGE LIE come from? Anyone can look at this personal letter from Thomas Jefferson and easily determine his meaning and intent. You wouldn't need to be a judge or have a law degree. Thomas Jefferson basically said that the FEDERAL Government would not dictate and demand that people be Baptists, Quakers, ABC, DEF, to XYZ. The people are free to follow the religious convictions of their heart. We need to remember that RELIGIOUS FREEDOM is one of the primary reasons why we fought the Revolutionary War. RELIGIOUS FREEDOM did NOT simply apply to the corner of a dark closet. It applied to public schools, public buildings, the public square, politics, and every facet of life. To eliminate the possible confusion, the Founding Fathers founded a CHRISTIAN NATION for a CHRISTIAN PEOPLE of many different denominations. Satan worshipers were NOT considered at all, and the Founding Fathers obviously would NEVER have considered this as religion - NOR would they have condoned this. LET'S GET REAL and tell the rest of the story. The Founding Fathers legislated RELIGIOUS FREEDOM for Christianity! - NOT false religions and certainly NOT satan worshipers! If the Founding Fathers and people like them saw the conditions of today, they would be ready to fight another Revolutionary War. One can look at mountains of facts and evidence that provides proof that our country has been stolen by the devil with a pack of LIES.
