Title: Evangelicals would bolt if Giuliani is nominee Post by: Soldier4Christ on November 01, 2007, 10:07:32 AM Evangelicals would bolt if Giuliani is nominee
A new poll suggests that 55 percent of white evangelical Republicans would consider voting for a conservative third-party candidate if the 2008 presidential race pits Hillary Clinton against Rudy Giuliani. The Pew Research Center says the margin of error was plus or minus 2.5 percentage points. Giuliani is the leading GOP contender in most national polls, but his views on abortion, gays and guns are considered too liberal by many Christian conservatives. Christian conservative leaders have discussed launching a third-party bid if the former New York mayor is nominated, although some argue that doing so would guarantee a Democratic victory. I believe there are enough of us to do it and to get who we want in, but HOW is the big question.

Seeing that A majority of America was/is turning to Godlessness! (Gay Agenda & Such) I Prayed back then that the Lord would Stop the rain & Dry America up Until her knees bent and remembered her God & His Son! It's unfortunate that it takes the Wrath of God to wake a Nation up, Espeically a Nation that Claimed Him as their own... Where are the Davids & Gideons That will stand up for OUR God?(Present Company Excluded=CU) The only MAN i will vote for, is a man that has the will of Godly thinking people in mind & that will strive to get us back to the Godly Nation we once was... The Problem is Finding & Knowing if someone will live up to that in these times? With what we have now, I would or will vote for Fred Thompson. Your Loving Brother Duane Title: Re: Evangelicals would bolt if Giuliani is nominee Post by: Soldier4Christ on November 01, 2007, 07:52:56 PM Fred Thompson is lacking greatly in that manner. I personally think that Huckabee is much more of a Godly man with a a Godly agenda.

I totally agree with you... I don't think he has a chance though and it would be a wasted vote? Unless ALL of us Christians got together and voted with one heart mind & soul.. I don't see it happening, I Pray it Does though. Hillary shot herself in the foot last night: Being for, giving Licenses to Illeagals.. Thank God! Unfortunately many will take that attitude so they in effect are making it come true. We need to step out in the name of the Lord not throw our pearls to the swine. Title: Re: Evangelicals would bolt if Giuliani is nominee Post by: nChrist on November 01, 2007, 10:50:52 PM Brothers and Sisters,
I've tried pretty hard to watch and listen. I haven't made up my mind completely yet, but right now I feel that my decision will be Huckabee. If so, I will do the best I can to support him. I was pretty disappointed with some interviews I watched with Thompson. As a contrast, I watched some interviews with Huckabee and was impressed. He's already openly proclaimed JESUS CHRIST as his LORD and SAVIOUR on television. The reporter continued in a line of questions that appeared to be an attempt to get Huckabee to discriminate against other religions. The reporter asked something like, "Is there a single way to Heaven?" The gist of Huckabee's answer was: I believe that faith in JESUS CHRIST is the only way to be Saved and go to Heaven. I realize that others have different beliefs, and I won't be trying to force my beliefs on anyone. Brothers and Sisters, I hope to decide soon because I know some of the candidates don't have very much money and need support. This will be a matter of considerable thought and prayer for me. If a Godly man becomes a reasonable choice for a Christian and needs support, I will help him in whatever manner I can. I don't have very much money, but I will even try to help with money. Love In Christ, Tom KEEP LOOKING UP!! Title: Re: Evangelicals would bolt if Giuliani is nominee Post by: Littleboy on November 02, 2007, 03:40:43 AM Hi Pastor & BEP,
I have letter's from President R. Reagan & a couple of Congressmen & a Senator thanking my Grandpa for his contributions To America & the Republican Party... What i meant by not a chance and a wasted vote is: If were not United on a single person our vote will be watered down... Like what Ross Perot(God Bless Him) did when Clinton won... Hillary or Obamha will win if that happens again... I understand completely. If we can get Huckabee through the primary, I think that many people will get behind him, including non-Christians. The man makes sense, tells it like it is, and has a lot of good ideas. I think that people in general have seen just about all they can stand of the Democrats. I understand why the Republicans were voted out of office, but they got twice as bad as what they had. The Republicans didn't do what they told the people they would do. However, it only took a matter of days for the Democrats to break all of their promises. Worse, the Democrats will pass huge tax increases if they can get by with it, and their social agenda is evil enough to make non-Christians cringe. Average people, Christian or not, won't tolerate where the Democrats want to take this country. If the Republicans get a second chance in the Congress and Senate, they'd better keep their promises. If not, there will be a third party quickly and it will do well. ALL of them had best remember that we have a Constitution! They don't do what they want to do, rather they do what the people sent them to do, and they do it according to the Constitution. Our representatives have gone crazy, and they might be looking at a single digit approval rating if they don't turn things around. It's gotten so bad that if they move their lips - we know they're lying. Title: Re: Evangelicals would bolt if Giuliani is nominee Post by: Littleboy on November 02, 2007, 02:09:32 PM AMEN! Brother!
