Title: Trinitarian vs Oneness beliefs
Post by: servant512 on October 22, 2007, 08:28:05 PM
Hello again brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.

I've been exposed for a longer period of time on the trinitarian belief. But as I go deeper in knowledge and truth by researching and reading and communicating with other religious denominations, I came across those who believe in Oneness. That Jesus is the God Father Himself and the Holy Spirit.

Which is more biblical to believe is it the trinitarian side or Oneness side?

The Trinity is the correct Biblical teaching not the Oneness. The Oneness teaching is actually blasphemy. It teaches that a person must speak in tongues in order to be saved, that a person must be baptized in order to be saved and they teach against baptizing "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" and must baptize in the name of Jesus only.

Please note #11 in the following post for new users:

Any support of anything but the Biblical truth of the Trinity is not allowed on this forum.

Jesus, God, and the Holy spirit are one, it is called the "Trinity."

Genesis 1:26 God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.

Acts 7:55-56 But he, full of the Holy Spirit and controlled by Him, gazed into heaven and saw the glory (the splendor and majesty) of God, and Jesus standing at God's right hand; 56 And he said, Look! I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing at God's right hand!

Thank you Pastor Roger and Dreamweaver on the replies.
I am truly sorry too if I violated forum rules due to not going over the rules.
It won't happen again. I hope I won't get banned.

Delete then this discussion if it needs to be.

Thank you.

It is not a problem. There is no problem in discussing this subject only in the support of the false Oneness teachings. I was simply bringing your attention to that so that you wouldn't make a mistake that might get you banned.

There are many cults coming out by the day and we must insure that when we are exposed to them that we do in fact compare them to the teachings of the Bible. The Bible does teach us the Trinity from start to finish. It is given to us in many places throughout the Bible. As DreamWeaver pointed out the Trinity is mentioned in the Old Testament as well as the New. Unfortunately many people refuse to see it.

Ok Pastor Roger.

It gave me a sigh of relief.

And what Dreamweaver shared is really great.

Thank you.
