Do you see when I’m angry Do you see when I frown? Do you see when I gossip, Or hurt someone’s feelings? Do you see me ignore, They are fellow human beings? Do you see when I wander, And have no direction? Do you see how I wiggle, Under your correction? Do you see when I cheat Or skimp on a chore? Do you see in my heart When I feel it’s a bore? Do you see my self-pride, Pay attention when I’m boastful? Do you hear what I say, When I’m not being careful? Do you see when I’m selfish And really don’t care?
