Title: November 22, 1963
Post by: Symphony on November 22, 2003, 10:15:30 AM

I was sitting in third grade class, on this day, forty years ago, when the news came over the intercom, that President Kennedy had been shot.

(C. S. Lewis also died on this day.)

In my dad's school, the Bible had not yet been banished, and they had a moment of silence and prayer in honor of the president. And yes, teachers cried.  :'(

A sad happening for Americans, and for America's history. It seemed to change America very much from then to now.

This is some world we live in. That's so sad. And CS Lewis-I love his work.
