UAE father of 78 eyes new brides for century target

DUBAI (Reuters) - A one-legged Emirati father of 78 is lining up his next two wives in a bid to reach his target of 100 children by 2015, Emirates Today reported on Monday.

Daad Mohammed Murad Abdul Rahman, 60, has already had 15 brides although he has to divorce them as he goes along to remain within the legal limit of four wives at a time.

"In 2015 I will be 68 years old and will have 100 children," the local tabloid quoted Abdul Rahman as saying.

"After that I will stop marrying. I have to have at least three more marriages to hit the century."

The United Arab Emirates newspaper splashed its front page with a picture of Abdul Rahman surrounded by his children, the eldest of whom is 36 years old and the youngest of whom is 20 days old. Two of his current three wives are also pregnant.

Abdul Rahman said his large family lived in 15 houses. He supports them with his military pension and the help of the government of Ajman, one of seven emirates that comprise the UAE, which includes the Gulf trade and tourism hub of Dubai.

Islam allows men to marry up to four women at a time, though most marry only one. The UAE is a Muslim country but is home to migrants from around the world.

(My Note:  All I want to know if this guy laughs a lot or cries a lot.)

I would say he cries a lot...........................  and ohhhhhhhhhhhh the headaches!!!! ;)

That is just plain sad really.

Oh and so is this guy with all the wives and children....mainly I was talking about still owning 45's  :D

All I know is this guy better hurry up he still has 20 kids to go. He must be trying to start his own country  ;D ;D

ehhh...nothing, I prefer 9mm for the range and the penetration...but if I wanna knock someone down then 45 is the way to go :)

What I really want to know is how many of them will be knocking each other off to increase their share of the inheritance.

Who knows maybe he doesn't even have an inheritance anymore. Can you imagine if they had the same laws we have? He would have to pay child support, and alimony would he still want 100 kids????

That was my thoughts also. After supporting that many children there is no inheritance unless he was a part of the oil moguls.

Of course being muslim they wouldn't have to have the excuse of an inheritance for them to knock each other off. There are plenty of other reasons.

We were all thinking the same thing, except all I thought would be left is BILLS. So, I doubt that I would want BILLS as an inheritance.

NOW, compare this to an inheritance in CHRIST - JESUS PAID IT ALL!

I myself like the .38 super,  since neither of my wrists couldn't handle the .45's.  If I really want to knock something down, I'd use my 7mm Remington mag.  ;D  Point blank range is 1 mile, it is a great deer rifle.  ;D ;D
