24th int'l competition of reciting holy Quran kicks off its work
Tehran, Aug 10, IRNA

Iran-Reciting Holy Quran-Competition
The 24th International Competition of Reciting Holy Quran kicked off its work here with 85 reciters from 53 countries on Friday on the eve of Feast of Mab'ath (the prophet Mohammad (PBUH) divine assignment to prophethood).

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is to address the inauguration ceremony and two reciters from Iran and Egypt are to recite verses of the Holy Quran in the ceremony.

The 23rd reciting competition was held on September 26, 2006.

They would do much better to read the Bible daily.
