Title: Heart Trouble Post by: Ambassador4Christ on November 08, 2003, 10:17:12 PM The heart beats 2,500,000,000 times in a normal life span, but did you know that one out of every four who read this, will die of heart disease? Did you know that heart trouble causes twice as many deaths as cancer?
There is no quick cure for heart disease, though by doing only as much work as the heart can carry, many can lead a long and useful life. Suppose you have a bad heart. How would you like to have a doctor who knows all about it, but never tells you? Instead he talks about your nice rosy cheeks and says you are the picture of health. How tragic to find out that you have been a victim of his deceiving flattery. It is not a very pleasant task to tell people the truth about them-selves. Often such candid information is deeply resented. How-ever, as a minister of the Gospel, it is my duty before God to give you the facts about spiritual heart trouble which afflicts every human being born into this life. The Word of God says: 1. "The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked." (Jeremiah 17:9) 2. "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness; all these evil things come from within, and defile the man." (Mark 7:21- 23) This is God's diagnosis of every heart, yours and mine. But unlike physical heart trouble which may not always be cured, there is an unfailing remedy for this spiritual malady. It is found in the cleansing Blood of Christ. "In Whom we have redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace" (Ephesians 1:7). It is applied by faith. Has your heart trouble been cured? Eph 2:8 -9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Hmmm....I think I've done that once too often.
Thanks for the reminder! ~LMarsh Title: Re:Heart Trouble Post by: Willowbirch on November 11, 2003, 07:09:33 AM 1 John 3:20b "For God is greater than our heart, and knows all things."

YES!!!! Amen Brother Love :) Title: Re:Heart Trouble Post by: Jesussavedusall on November 22, 2003, 10:21:22 PM I think most heart disease is because people don't exercise enough and don't eat right. My grandparents exercise every day and have been their entire lives, and they are almost 90 and still healthy and able to walk.
This heart thing seems to be more apparent in the US than in Asia. Also, apparently a little alchohol is good for the heart. Drinking a teaspoon of red wine every day is good for you. Anything more than that is overworking your liver.
