Title: Hello and returning to Christ
Post by: Mislead on July 07, 2007, 12:10:20 PM
I don't know what to say.  Hello, I'm scared.  My life is in a whirlwind right now.  As you can see I am new at
this, I have been lost for a long time, and I am grateful that the Lord has shine his light on me.  I am seeking to
grow in the Lord, and praying that he would create in me a heart filled with his Grace and Love, for I long for
it.  I have been so miserable without him in my life.   The sins that I have committed against Him and my family
are to much to bear.  I am struggling with the burden of knowing that, I have brought shame upon my family.

My Gods Love abound within each us
and may we glorify his holy name AMEN!
                                                                                         Sincerely Mislead

Hello mislead, and welcome to Christians Unite forum.

John 8:32 And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.

1 Corinthians 6:11 And such some of you were [once]. But you were washed clean (purified by a complete atonement for sin and made free from the guilt of sin), and you were consecrated (set apart, hallowed), and you were justified [pronounced righteous, by trusting] in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the [Holy] Spirit of our God.

Through Jesus, He has set you free from your past sins.  You need to give your all to Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:28 However, when everything is subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will also subject Himself to [the Father] Who put all things under Him, so that God may be all in all [be everything to everyone, supreme, the indwelling and controlling factor of life].

Only through giving your all to Christ, can you truly be free.

Welcome to the forums.

Mislead you can dwell on all that you have done in the past until it buries you again.  And believe me it will if you keep thinking about what you have done....God gave you a new life, one to focus not on what you have done, but instead what you can and will do.

James is a wonderful book full of how what we do in the name of Christ will build our faith.  I strongly recommend it.
