Title: PRAISE
Post by: Royo on June 24, 2007, 12:01:16 AM
Praising God is SO important........

PRAISE

PRAISE THE LORD FOR EVERYTHING, THAT HAPPENS IN YOUR LIFE.
FOR LOVE AND JOY AND MISERY, FOR GOODNESS AND FOR STRIFE.
THE LORD OUR GOD IS IN CONTROL, THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.
HE KNOWS OF WHAT WE ARE IN NEED, AND WHAT WE MUST GROW TOWARD.
IN PRAISE AND THANKS UNTO THE LORD, WE FEEL AT PEACE WITHIN.
FOR JESUS DIED UPON THE CROSS, SO THIS PEACE WE MIGHT WIN.
SO ALWAYS KNOW WITHIN YOUR HEART, THAT JESUS CHRIST IS REAL.
AND ANY LOST OR WEARY SOUL, THE LORD OUR GOD WILL HEAL.
GIVE PRAISE AND THANKS IN EVERYTHING, THE GOOD AND BAD ALIKE.
FOR THIS IS GOD'S COMMAND TO US, AT SATAN WE WILL STRIKE.
IN JESUS CHRIST SALVATION LIES, FOR THIS IS WHY HE DIED.
SO THAT WE MAY RETURN TO GOD, TO WHOM OUR SOUL IS TIED.
AND ASK NOT WHY YOUR LIFE IT IS, THE WAY IT SEEMS TO BE.
BUT LOOK TO JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD, HIS TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE.

MAY THE PRAISE AND THANKS YOU GIVE TODAY BRING YOU PEACE AND JOY TOMORROW.

ANOTHER AMEN!

Brother Roy, I'm happy to see that you are still writing. You made an important point about the "bad" things and still Praising GOD. Many mature Christians can look back in their lives and see that times of trial and trouble brought them closer to CHRIST and stronger in HIM. So, in many ways our trials are good for us. First, we are better prepared to help others. Second and best, becoming Strong in the LORD should be a natural goal for all Christians.

We can stop looking for some unknown fulfillment when we make JESUS CHRIST the central focus of our lives. JESUS CHRIST is our fulfillment, joy, and Eternity.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Romans 11:33 NASB  Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!

Galatians 2:20 NASB  "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
