REMEMBER all the AMERICAN lives that were lost in those vicious MUSLIM attacks!



Now the United States Postal Service REMEMBERS and HONORS the EID MUSLIM holiday season with a commemorative first class holiday postage stamp.

REMEMBER to adamantly and vocally BOYCOTT this stamp when purchasing your stamps at the post office. To use this stamp would be a slap in the face to all those AMERICANS who died at the hands of those whom this stamp honors.

I presume you'll also be boycotting any Christmas commemorative stamps as a protest against all the attrocities committed by Christians over the centuries.

Why not?   The terrorists mentioned above are no more representative of decent Muslims than such people were (and are) of Christianity.

If they make stamps the commemorate Jesus, and not the Commercialism of Christmas, then sure. Not like we use snail mail anyways, right? ;D

Beside, is I different, as any one can see, when you attack A Society as then when you attack each other, for you see, with the exception of the Crusades, Christian Terrorism has been confided to other Christians. We keep it in the family. ;)

Rubbish.  Christians committed attrocities against the native inhabitants every time the European powers moved into another part of the world (N. America, Central America, Africa, India, Australia, the Pacific Islands, etc, etc).  We no longer tend to use terror tactics, because we hold all the power (financial and military).  Now we use our financial muscle to oppress the poor of the world instead.

The point is, you are condemning around one sixth of the world population on the basis of the actions of a handful of nutters.

You don’t even know what you are talking about. Blaming Christians for the Sins of European Imperialist is like blaming Whites for the Crimes committed by the KKK. These atrocities you talk of where done in the name of their perspective country. Coincidentally, they happen to be Christian’s, not due to the fact that they are Christians, like Muslims. These people didn’t use the bible to justify killing as the Muslims use the Koran. We aren’t talking about Christians or Muslims committing crimes. We are talking about Christians and Muslims committing crimes and using there perspective religion as an excuse.

And besides, looking at the current state and modern history of most European countries, and comparing them to the countries they once where, I’d have to say they paid the price for their crimes.

Sometimes they did use the bible to justify what they did.  Not always, I'll grant you, but that's not the point.



Which has been done, frequently, by members of just about all religions.  Christianity included.

Show me when they used the bible to justify what they did.

And, yet, a few nuts use the bible for their twisted means. Not a whole religion.

Do I really have to produce any examples - are you seriously contending that no-one has ever used the bible to justify the unjustifiable in this way?

Most Muslims do not pervert the Koran or Islam for twisted means.  I've met a fair number of Muslims, both here in Australia, and in Pakistan (and one or two in the UK), and the vast majority of those who take their faith seriously are peaceable, decent people who show more of God's love than quite a few Christians I could mention.  Those who don't are no different to those who are Christian in name only.

I never said they prevert or twist the Koran. Christian will prevert and twist there bible, but the Muslims don't need to twist. Most true Muslims are more devoted to their faith then Chritians, but as for showing more of God's love... eh, not really. Sad to say, many of the Muslims in America are like the Christians, back-slid. But they are not ask kind and sweet as you seem to think. Not big fans of Christians, that they arn't.

Based on what.  How many Muslims have you really got to know?

I dare say that's been true of every faith everywhere at every time.  In Islamic countries like Pakistan, everyone (virtually) has to be Muslim in name, but most are only in name, just as it used to be in England when being a member of the Church of England was (intially legally, and latter socially) compulsory.

Given the kind of baseless prejudice shown here, that would hardly be surprising.   On the other hand, most of the Muslims I've got to know I would happly have as friends, and some I do count as such.
