Title: Words & Phrases oft found in the KJV Post by: eyesingle on April 21, 2007, 12:07:00 AM I have found a number of words and phrases, repeated several times in the KJV, that provide a multiplicity of good study routes. I'd like here to share them so that the diversity of each word or phrase might be explored.
Word and phrase searches are available in some Bible study Programs. If you type in each one into your Bible search engine, you will see the many times where these take place. Sometimes more so than one might expect. "Sift" is my favorite. They are as follows: It is Better Sift It is good It is not good Resist Rebuke First Day Sealed At the door before the door multitude of words Craftiness 3834 06193 Require of thee do with thee what have I to do with thee not yet come I adjure thee defile not children for a testimony take heed lest cut off perils come* Believe* Now & Salvation Approved are ye able are able prize practi* for a prey not yet come cast* earthly things of the heart convince* the reproach* fell on ought not should should not should not be not be should mouth {both words} be ye therefore words of my mouth word of truth a few things the whole body mightest be justified worm dieth not gnash* verity "keep their temper" in MHWholeBookCommentary unto the Lord one thing one stone seemeth good gotcha8eth against one that let it be hast made thee made thee whole thee whole maketh the put away a time to no evil *meddle* armed man tempt the Lord I hope yall find them as interesting as I did.
