Title: Another PM / E-Mail question Post by: 2nd Timothy on April 15, 2007, 07:07:24 PM OK, since the PM dealy is basically caput, I was wondering about the show e-mail setting in control panel.
If I enable that, will the spybots be able to retrieve my email address (like they do on a website) and increase the odds of me getting more SPAM, or is that a pretty safe option? If not it is available for all the bots and spammers to pick up.

I notice some forums have the option of allowing members to email others, without really showing the actual address...almost like the forum itself handles all that behind the scene....I take it that feature does not exist on CU?
