Gay Anglican Priest's Apostasy is Complete; Denies Atonement of Christ

BUDAPEST, Hungary, (christiansunite.com) -- According to a recent World Net Daily article, Pastor: Idea Christ Died for Sins Insane, homosexual priest, the Rev. Jeffrey John is planning to speak on BBC radio regarding his disdain for the view that Christ died for the sins of the world. Reverend John, who was denied a position of Bishop in 2003 because of his long term homosexual relationship is planning to state his views during Easter week in which that "leading gay cleric will tell listeners to BBC Radio 4 that Christianity's traditional teaching on Christ's crucifixion for the sins of mankind is 'repulsive,' 'insane' and makes 'God sound like a psychopath.'"

Phil Magnan of Biblical Family Advocates responds to Reverend John's statements saying, "The words of the Reverend remind me of the warnings of 2 Peter 2:1-2, which says, 'But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them,... Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned;' Sad to say, the Reverend is following the usual pattern of those who refuse to accept God's Word for its clear teachings regarding homosexuality and end up even denying the saving work of Christ."

"These false and ungodly teachers twist the scriptures to their own destruction and according to the book of Jude "turn the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ into licentiousness" even ending up denying Christ Himself. You cannot have Christ without His atoning work. Without that atoning work we cannot presume to be in right standing before God. Without question, Jesus Christ condemned all unlawful sexual relationships in Matthew 15:19, which according to the Law of God that He wrote, included homosexuality."

Yep ... in a nutshell... the fact is.  they want to deny The TRUTH so that they can justify themselves and their lifestyle. Wrong is NEVER wrong anymore.

No matter how many times you try to explain that just because 3 lefts makes a right...2 wrongs do not.

Perhaps just reading aloud a Bible passage, that describes homosexuality as sin will be viewed as a "Hate Crime" one day. :'(

Jhn 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before [it hated] you.
Jhn 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Jhn 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
Jhn 15:21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.

It already is in many countries. There are several charges against people in Canada right now just for quoting those passages from scripture.

This priest is a blasphemer who clearly knows nothing about salvation or the Word.  His lifestyle is an abomination, and nothing he says or does will change the Bible's position on homosexuality.  

You're totally right. More and more of this type of person is getting a place behind a pulpit to spread their blasphemous lies and unfortunately they are leading many a sheep over the edge of the cliff to their eternal death.

It is important that we spread the word of God to all to save those sheep from that eternal torment.

There also seems to be a prevalence of homosexual 'Ministers of Music' in churches as well.
