Title: town of 8 degrees, MI Post by: Willowbirch on January 18, 2007, 03:44:36 PM Happy Thursday everyone!
Tonight we have company coming to our house, which means we have to clean, and even dust. I dusted, everyone else cleaned. Now Dad is outside, blowing Snow with a Leaf Blower. He is doing a very good job, considering the tool. I was thinking of folks at ChristiansUnite last night, especially Tom and Maria, and Pastor Roger and Dreamweaver, as well as a few names that I have not seen in a long time. I'm sorry that I have been neglecting this fellowship. How are you doing? The oven timer just beeped. Mom asked me, "Has it been ten minutes already? Check the muffins. Do they look firm?" I checked the muffins. They were still on the counter where I left them, and they looked raw, just like I left them. I will try setting the timer again, this time with muffins in the oven. It's great to see you. It sounds like you have a fun evening planned. I like muffin batter. I get in trouble for dipping into it before the muffins get into the oven all the time. Just give me the mixing bowl to clean up and I'm happy. :D :D The only problem with that is beating my wife to the bowl. :D :D Title: Re: town of 8 degrees, MI Post by: nChrist on January 18, 2007, 09:44:59 PM Hello Willowbirch,
I wrote one reply and somehow deleted it, so I'll try again. :D We've been living in an ice cube here, but things warmed up today over freezing. Another winter storm will hit us tomorrow, but the weather folks say it will only be 4 to 8 inches of snow with temperatures over freezing. Our schools are still closed, so you know how disappointed my school teacher wife is about being out of school for the entire week. :D The muffins sound good, and I just might drop a hint to my wife. YES - BLUEBERRY! - Hot out of the oven and some butter. YUM! Finger lickin' - lip smackin' good. SAFETY ADVISORY: In zero to 10 degree weather, do NOT attempt to lick outside metal objects. ;D Title: Re: town of 8 degrees, MI Post by: David_james on January 18, 2007, 09:59:43 PM Mmmmmm chocolate chip muffin
