Oklahoma Howdy to All,

Here's your chance to define what it means to be Saved, "Born Again". It may also be your chance to explain why you don't believe, why you doubt, or why you think that being Saved or "Born Again" is simply a myth.

Again, I wish to post my thoughts and feelings later.

I've always been for the Roman road's comment, confess with your mouth, and believe with your heart. You have honestly beleive he died for you, and you have to proudly confess that you do. By doing this, you accept hi mand grace that comes with him.

     
      ACTS 2:21 And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
      ACTS 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
      1COR 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
     

I'm not so sure, I have a shaved head, therefore I must be short haired holier than thou business man  ::)  Since this is such a true statement I must also not witness to anyone who looks different than me.   ::)

So maybe I'm not who knows, according to JTB if I don't keep all of God's commandments I'm doomed.

Brother, you come across as someone who has the courage to witness to anyone God gives you the opportunity to.

I think that you know why Christ came and died on the cross. Christ fulfilled the law because mankind couldn't, can't, and needed a Saviour. Every time JTB posts, I become more and more sure of my Salvation.

Brother, we all look different. I'm short and ugly, but I have no problem in witnessing to tall, good looking folks. However, I am somewhat partial to the short and ugly folks.  ;)

Nothing could shake my belief.  I have been baptised according to the Bible and Father God watches over my every need thanks to my Saviour.  Yes, I do know I am saved.  Jesus gave me that Salvation.  And, he's the only man who ever saved me!

Me too!  Course that's namely because I am short and ugly!  Did I mention bald too?  Hey!  Bald is beautiful!

Anyways, I'm saved.  That means that I've been redeemed with the blood of Jesus, my sin debt has been paid in full.  I am born again.  That means that my once dead spirit was quickened at my salvation - hence, born again.  I was born of flesh, then of spirit, and indwelt with the Holy Spirit.

AMEN BROTHER! The joy, peace, and assurance of SALVATION is the biggest GIFT anyone could possibly receive. Thanks be unto God for HIS unspeakable GIFT.

On a light note:  I think that short people should unite and demand equal rights. We're tired of tall people stealing our sunlight and diminishing the air quality before we get it. What do you think - THE SHORT PEOPLE LIBERATION MOVEMENT?  ;D

I agree!  We need a voice!  We must rise (no pun intended) to the occassion! Liberation!  LIBERATION!!!

And if all else fails we can always kick em in the knees.   ;D

Yes, I give thanks that I'm saved. I asked Jesus Christ to come into my heart as my personal Lord and Saviour almost 50 year ago. My life was changed forever, and I was "Born Again" and made a new creature in Christ. I have been adopted as a child of God and given an inheritance that I didn't deserve and haven't earned. The Holy Spirit is in my heart as a seal of the PROMISE of eternal life in Glory with my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

All Glory and thanks goes to Almighty God, his Love and MATCHLESS GRACE. Any goodness or righteousness I might have is imputed to me ONLY THROUGH THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST. Apart from the Blood of Jesus, I have NO goodness or righteousness.

Thanks be unto God for HIS unspeakable GIFT!
