Title: ACLU Subverts Civil Liberties Post by: Soldier4Christ on December 21, 2006, 10:52:33 PM ACLU Subverts Civil Liberties
ACLU Board Member disrupts peaceful pro-marriage rally, then files phony "assault" charge against prominent Catholic activist Larry Cirignano. (Just the latest in series of outrages.) Could also be charged with "hate crime"! In probably the most outrageous display of harassment and intimidation, an ACLU Board member who staged an ugly disruption of a peaceful pro-marriage rally this past Saturday morning is now following it up with an attempt to bring formal assault charges against Larry Cirignano, Executive Director of Catholic Vote. The alleged "assault" appears to have been also staged for the purpose of bringing forth the charges. And the Worcester police - who have a record of cooperating with the homosexual community - have filed a formal assault and battery complaint against Larry. And according to newspaper reports they are investigating whether he committed a "hate crime". Here's what really happened. We talked to people who were there, and who witnessed the entire incident. VoteOnMarriage had an official permit to use the area of the City Hall steps for their pro-marriage rally. When the homosexual activists began to show up there, the police told them that they had to leave that area, and could demonstrate on the nearby sidewalk, but only if they kept moving. So the homosexuals went to the sidewalk but after a short time stopped moving and simply stood there shouting at the pro-marriage people. The police did nothing. And rather than stay on the sidewalk, the homosexual activists walked back into the rally. They bumped, jostled, and heckled the audience and the speakers, and banged on drums, etc The pro-marriage supporters had gathered in a large circle around a podium to hear the speakers. At one point during the speeches Sarah Loy walked into that area and stood almost directly in front of the podium, facing the crowd, holding a pro-homosexual sign. Loy is a member of the Board of Directors of the Worcester County Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). When the police did nothing to stop Loy (according to some, the police were not in the immediate area at all), Larry Cirignano, an organizer of the event and Executive Director of CatholicVote, approached her and asked her to leave. She refused. He asked her again, and she refused. So, with one arm (he was holding a notebook with his other arm) he led her away from the podium. A few yards further, when they reached the crowd of pro-marriage spectators, Larry started to walk away from Loy. But after several steps he turned around and was surprised to see she was on the ground - though strangely, lying perpendicular to the direction in which she had been moving. As one witness told us, "To me, you could tell it was likely a setup. Everybody got that impression. It was done to provoke, to stir up." . And for this absurd stunt by an ACLU board member, Larry is facing assault and battery charges - and according to newspaper reports, the police are investigating whether this constitutes a "hate crime"! Of course, this further exposes the true nature of the ACLU as a group that does its best to subvert the civil liberties of most Americans and, like the homosexual movement, to intimidate anyone in its path. But this is outrageous even by those standards. Sarah Loy and friend immediately ran to the police after her "fall". Title: Re: ACLU Subverts Civil Liberties Post by: Soldier4Christ on December 21, 2006, 11:02:01 PM Sarah Loy and her group first of all broke the law by not having a permit for a counter rally. They also broke the law for "inciting". These tactics are called "Brown Shirting". It comes from a group during Nazi Germany that was used by Hitler to intimidate and silence those that opposed him. It is the same tactics that we see by groups that portend to be all for civil liberties and freedom of speech. It was a tactic used just recently at a university in an attempt to silence a speaker from the Minuteman organization (A speaker that had a permit to speak there.)
It is very openly apparent that democrats, aclu, au, and liberals in general are moving closer and closer to communism and are getting away with such actions while those they are attacking are getting jail time or at least fines. |
