A classified memorandum by President Bush's national security adviser expressed serious doubts about whether Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has the capacity to control the sectarian violence in Iraq. The Nov. 8 memo was prepared for Bush and his top deputies by Stephen Hadley, the national security adviser, and senior aides on the staff of the National Security Council after a trip by Hadley to Baghdad. "snip" The release of all this classified information has got to stop. There are laws against doing this and they are there for a valid reason. To prevent the enemy from knowing what situations are. Giving them any of this classified information is giving them an edge ahead of us. If this keeps up we will definitely lose this battle. The laws against this sort of thing needs to be enforced and some heads roll for it. The safety of every man, woman and child in many areas rely on classified information of this nature to remain classified. |
