I'm Alicia. I'm 18 years old and about 3 years my mother passed away and I lost my relationship with the Lord. I have finally realized without God in your life, life is nothing. I am now happy to be here to state I am fully rededicating my life to the Lord! ;D I'm a student at Augusta Technical College in Augusta, GA and I plan to become a Medical Transcriptionist. I thought I'd say 'Hello!' to everyone and let everyone know, whoever you may be, that I am proud to say that I am ready to get my life back on the right path, the path that leads me to a wonderful relationship with Jesus Christ! I am so excited to get my life on the right track with God again because I know He will never place a mountain in front of me that I am unable to climb and eventhough I pushed him away when my mother died I know that He was always there, He never left my side! Alicia, I am very happy to know that you have rededicaated your life to the Lord, I will be praying for you, that your walk with the Lord will be a very strong commitment and that you will continue running the race, until the Lord returns to take us home. This old world has nothing, but pain and suffering, greed and lust, hate and envy, we don't want any of that. Thank you for your post. Losing your mother is a tough battle but with the Lord you are able to overcome everything. I know life isn't always easy but I believe that with the Lord is your heart it makes it easier to deal with. I am so glad to have strong Christians here to hear me out and support my decision in giving my life to the Lord again. I'm new here too, but would love to welcome you also. You're so right, there are some very caring people here. I'll be praying for you too. I remember how hard it was for me at 18 when my dad died. And even though I floundered, God never left me. He had me in His hands the whole time. I just didn't know it then. I'm so happy for your decision to follow Him.
