Title: Hello From Dreamweaver Post by: nChrist on October 04, 2006, 06:36:06 PM Brothers and Sisters,
Here's a hello from Dreamweaver (Brother Bob) on his Honey Moon. ____________________________________ Hello all from the strange state of Flordia. I am visiting my uncle who lives here, with Lizzie. It has taken a over a week for us to get here. We will be here for a few days. So far the trip has been pleasent, and nice. As some of you know I married Lizzie last week. We are traveling, (our honeymoon) visiting families our next stop will be to York county, Pa, where Lizzies Grandparents live. My own grandparents also lived in York county, but to towards the Maryland border. Both are buried in the small little town of Delta. God Bless y'all, peace and Grace Bob Title: Re: Hello From Dreamweaver Post by: Soldier4Christ on October 04, 2006, 09:13:59 PM That's great news. I just pray that he is not doing too much with that recent surgery.
Title: Re: Hello From Dreamweaver Post by: nChrist on October 04, 2006, 11:39:42 PM He is definitely in my prayers. I hope and pray that GOD will watch over them and give them a safe and happy trip.

I too am praying that Brother Bob and Sister Lizzie have a safe trip and that Brother Bob will not hurt himself. I know Lizzie is taking good care of him, but that is an awful lot of driving for her too. I know Brother Bob can't drive yet.I pray she is getting enough rest and not overdoing it herself.
I am so happy for the both of them. Title: Re: Hello From Dreamweaver Post by: Brother Jerry on October 05, 2006, 09:03:23 AM I ditto those sentiments.
May what seems like a long road trip be a symbol of their marriage (only in that it is long...no the tiring part :) ) I pray for there trip and that they will continue to let God into their marriage and guide it from start to finish. Resting in the hands, of the Lord. Bob Title: Re: Hello From Dreamweaver Post by: nChrist on October 23, 2006, 02:52:39 PM Hello Dreamweaver,
Brother Bob, covering all of those miles is a pretty good challenge, even for younger folks. Can I assume that it might be at least a few days before you holler 'ROAD TRIP?" At least stay home long enough to check the tires and change the oil. ;D Love In Christ, Tom Revelation 21:3-4 NASB And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away." Dreamweaver, I was talking about the car, but now that I'm thinking about it........ ;D I was just sitting here and trying to think if I had ever taken a trip covering that many miles in a car. I don't think that I have. My wife and I many times enjoy driving out in the country for an afternoon and coming home. We like to take the old roads and stop in the small towns. We also enjoy eating in the mom and pop type places. One of our favorite drives is through the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge just a few miles from our house. Love In Christ, Tom Revelation 3:20 NASB 'Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. Title: Re: Hello From Dreamweaver Post by: Soldier4Christ on October 24, 2006, 07:15:07 AM I haven't taken that kind of trip in quite a few years. I don't think I could handle it right now. When I was stationed in San Diego I drove from there to visit family in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Illinois and then back in 6 days.
Title: Re: Hello From Dreamweaver Post by: airIam2worship on October 24, 2006, 07:25:23 AM I'm a nature lover, I would love to live in the country, with lots of scenery, mountains, lakes, country roads, deer, eagals, wildflowers all that kinda stuff. Old fashion kinds places, I don't care for big cities and malls and traffic. I don't even mind the cold that much as long as I can keep the house nice and warm.
I have taken car trips to Colorado from Florida and also to Michigan from Florida, but being in a car for 2 or more hours really hurts my back and I have to stop often to get my blood circulating, otherwise I may start to develop blood clots. :( My favorite drive was through the Smokey Mountains when I went to MI. I grew up in NJ, and as a child my father would take us for drives in the country. We would go to the apple orchards and the farmers markets on the side of the roads, and we used to go to CT. a lot cause my grandma lived there. Those are some of my favorite memories. ;) |
