Jabez, I'm computer illiterate. What's a java chat?

   I'm not much better than you, but a chat room is live,or instant not like a measege board, as for java I belive it maybe a coding system.

java is just another codeing.I think it would be fun to have live chat.Kinda like a instant messanger but on a bigger scale.

So is there no live chat at this forum site? ???

ADMIN will have to answer this one. I've seen real-time chat programs, but I've never used one beyond the personal chat programs. I have no idea what something like this would require in system resources. The bigger question might involve additional ways for someone to attack a Christian Forum.

It's a shame, but Christian Forums are much more subject to attack than other types of forums. The Holy Bible explains this question by making it clear that Christians will be subject to persecution and attack.

i understand,theres sometimes when i have a pressing qeustion or need fellowship,with other christians.

Jabez, I feel the exact same way. I have AIM and chat with a few people on this forum but it seems to go out on me all the time. I also think that if we had a live chat, it would greatly reduce some hurt feelings that come from misunderstood posts. But, we live in a messy world. I haven't yet given up hope that we can engage in a live chat.

I just set one up for my football team,so if anyone is interested i could set one up here on a trial basis.I have my own web space and host,just give me the word..
