Title: Dirty Jobs "Hosted by Mike Rowe" Post by: cardsfan71 on August 18, 2006, 02:34:36 PM I love this program.Mike travels around the nation learning and teaching people about jobs that people perform to make a living.The show comes on Tuesday nights at 9:00 pm on the Discovery Channel!! He does everyting from hog farming to working at sewage plants.You guys ought to watch this and let me know if you like it.

I've seen this show a time or two and while I'm very glad I don't have to perform some of the jobs Mike has had, it is interesting and I think it's good for teens to get a realistic look at what folks have to go through to earn an honest living. I like that they're frank about the unsavory aspects of some tasks without dwelling on them too much. I don't have the stomach to watch these type of shows. But I am thankful for the people who do these jobs.
