Title: The Replacements
Post by: Tibby on September 07, 2003, 04:05:04 PM
What do you guys think? Are using Replacement curse words ok? Saying things like Gosh dangit and freaking. Technically, they aren’t cursing, but are you still cursing in your heart? What do you think?

Let no corrupt communication procede out of our mouths, hmmmm, but only that which is edifying. Hmmm again, and seasoned with grace.

Whatever is not of faith is sin and so, I guess it would be how one views different phrases or words. We are not under law and thus there are no hard and fast rules.

My criteria is- am I still in fellowship with the Lord? If the answer is YES, I go right on but if NO, I ask forgiveness and clain the blood of Christ as cleansing me from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)

Matthew 5:37
37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
