Title: A Special Requests For
Post by: Soldier4Christ on August 12, 2006, 07:31:55 PM
A very special friend and his family.

A friend of mine is in the hospital today fighting for his life. I first met him when I was a teenager. He came to my church as a visiting preacher. I was impressed with this man from the very start. He was a very Godly man and was so well versed in the word of God even though he was blind from birth. His God given gift of sight was beyond my belief and I definitely am not talking about physical sight.

I have been blessed to have Mr Nash and his wife as a neighbor ( they live just two houses away ) for the past 6 years now. The Drs are not sure but they think that he has suffered a stroke. He is sleeping continuosly since going in the hospital. No, not a coma as he also is calling out to his grandson frequently.

I am very concerned about his wife also as her health has not been good and she is taking this very hard.

Please keep them in your prayers.

Brother Roger,

I will definitely join you in prayer for this man and his family. It sounds like God has used him in a mighty way, and I give thanks that we have so many strong men and women of the LORD to encourage everyone around them. As we all should know, God many times uses people with disabilities to show others the way. So it sounds quite reasonable for a blind pastor to lead a seeing flock.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Revelation 21:3-4 NASB  And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away."

Amen brother he was very instrumental to God in many ways. He and his wife have touched so many lives and I know that I am one of those lives.
