Title: Ready or not, Israel is coming. Post by: Ken1Burton on July 04, 2006, 12:59:08 AM This might belong in Prophecy, But it is DEBATEABLE.
God has a time table, God blinded the nation of Israel in Isaiah 29:10/12 from seeing Jesus is the Messiah. Joshua told the Children of Israel in Joshua 3:3/6 when they saw the Ark of the Covenant, and the Levites bearing it up. To follow after it, But to stay back 2,000 cubits. God speaks in Similitudes (Hosea 12:10). The Nation of Israel saw the Priests lifting the Ark of the Covenant up at a place called "Golgotha" in 29 A.D. (Calendar is 4 years off) Stay back 2,000 years. Or Follow Christ in 2029 A.D. Like Pilate, told the Priests "You take Him and Crucify Him, I find no fault in the Man." Title: Re: Ready or not, Israel is coming. Post by: Shammu on July 04, 2006, 01:45:18 AM This might belong in Prophecy, But it is DEBATEABLE. The Bible says, and I have been saying this alot this week. Like Pilate, told the Priests "You take Him and Crucify Him, I find no fault in the Man." Ken Matthew 24:36 But of that [exact] day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Mark 13:32 But of that day or that hour not a [single] person knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. So I rebuke your thinking, for that of the Bible. The Bible doesn't set dates, so you are leading in false prophecy. Resting in the hands, of the Lord. Bob Title: Re: Ready or not, Israel is coming. Post by: Rookieupgrade1 on July 04, 2006, 10:41:21 AM Still unsure how you can apply Jasua's direction to remain at a distance to the time Christ will return...........
Matthew 24:36 But of that [exact] day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. I agree with DW while I find prophesy fascinating it has little to do with spreading the good news of our risen Lord, other than to tell that He will return and to again refer to Matthew 24:36 But of that [exact] day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Title: Re: Ready or not, Israel is coming. Post by: Shammu on July 05, 2006, 07:13:31 PM One of the foundations of our Christian faith is Jesus's second coming. It is spoken by Jesus and many others in the Bible. Jesus will physically come again for all His believers. Unfortunately, some Christian cults teach that Christ "secretly" returned already. As you read what the Bible says about the Second Coming of Jesus, it will be obvious that it hasn't happened yet.
The Second Coming of Christ is plagued by many false teachings. Ken1Burtons beliefs, are of such teachings. Prediction books have even been written picking the exact day of Jesus' return. These books may sell many copies, but they mislead their readers. There's one guarantee: As soon as someone predicts the day or time of Jesus Christ's second coming, that prediction is wrong. Why? Simply, only God the Father knows when it will be, Jesus doesn't even know. Jesus told His disciples; Matthew 24:36 But of that [exact] day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Matthew 24:40 At that time two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one will be left. Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore [give strict attention, be cautious and active], for you do not know in what kind of a day [whether a near or remote one] your Lord is coming. As we get closer and closer to the Second Coming of Christ, there will be increasing and widespread doubt about whether Jesus even existed. People will also start wondering if God really exists and believers will leave the Christian faith. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 BUT RELATIVE to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) and our gathering together to [meet] Him, we beg you, brethren, 2 Not to allow your minds to be quickly unsettled or disturbed or kept excited or alarmed, whether it be by some [pretended] revelation of [the] Spirit or by word or by letter [alleged to be] from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has [already] arrived and is here. 3 Let no one deceive or beguile you in any way, for that day will not come except the apostasy comes first [unless the predicted great falling away of those who have professed to be Christians has come], and the man of lawlessness (sin) is revealed, who is the son of doom (of perdition), 4 Who opposes and exalts himself so proudly and insolently against and over all that is called God or that is worshiped, [even to his actually] taking his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming that he himself is God. 1 Timothy 4:1-2 BUT THE [Holy] Spirit distinctly and expressly declares that in latter times some will turn away from the faith, giving attention to deluding and seducing spirits and doctrines that demons teach, 2 Through the hypocrisy and pretensions of liars whose consciences are seared (cauterized), 2 Peter 2:1-3 BUT ALSO [in those days] there arose false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among yourselves, who will subtly and stealthily introduce heretical doctrines (destructive heresies), even denying and disowning the Master Who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their immoral ways and lascivious doings; because of them the true Way will be maligned and defamed. 3 And in their covetousness (lust, greed) they will exploit you with false (cunning) arguments. From of old the sentence [of condemnation] for them has not been idle; their destruction (eternal misery) has not been asleep. Do you think we're already seeing these signs? Resting in the hands, of the Lord. Bob Title: Re: Ready or not, Israel is coming. Post by: Rookieupgrade1 on July 05, 2006, 07:42:30 PM Yes Brother Bob........I do ;)

Post by: Kelly4Jesus on July 16, 2006, 09:36:15 PM Close to 2000 years ago, the apostles believed that they were in the end of times.
As everyone has said, no One..not even Jesus Himself knows when this will happen. The point is to always be ready--always looking up, and to take your life here on earth seriously, and do His Work until the day when we are called to our Glorious Home, worshipping our Lord forever! God Bless, Kelly |
