I can't understand why they want a forum and not allow all the posts people want to post, as long as they are clean posts.

As long as the posts are 4x4 related......they say its OK, but 98% of mine are related to 4x4's and or offroad events. Even at that I do detect some resentment, and second hand comments about post counts. They don't say anything directly since the posts are relevent but they have a problem with me haveing "too much time on my hands"

I have been fishing and found at least one believer.......and looking for more ;D

I won't stop till they make me ;D I'm already a club member and have several "alies" within the club, so getting rid of me will not be easy. Just trying to build more relationships and pass on the news!

Maybe they have a real small server. The other forum that I am on was deleting certain posts over a certain age in order to make more room. They have gotten a bigger, faster server now but still have to delete posts over a certain age.

Sorry Gary - but you can't hide from your post count.

I know there are a handful of boards that don't use it, but most boards do and we will continue to use it here. Post counts are helpful to people in determining the expertise of a person answering a question, the validity of the response and if a user is a very active member or just a post w****.





This is just a case in point, and why I feel like just because I enjoy conversation, it hurts my credibility on the site, and why I wanted to hide the post count.

I guess as long as I still stay withn the "relevent comments" spectrom, the truth will set them free ;D

If they had access to the over 20 posts so far today......on this site, the less than 10 on that one and the dozen or so emails so far...........

I think that I understand what you're talking about. Some forums have very limited server space, and others have limits on used bandwidth per day. It can get pretty expensive to run a big and busy site like Christians Unite. Most folks don't realize that the forum here represents only a tiny percentage of the daily traffic here. Christians Unite provides dynamic content for thousands of Christian sites around the world and many more thousands of individuals who have email subscriptions to things like devotions.

Take a look at the main areas of Christians Unite. It actually represents an entire online community or city for Christians. It makes me happy to know there are Beacons of LIGHT on the Internet that GOD is using in a mighty way during these possible last days of the Age of GRACE.

I did ask them if it was a concern about server space and bandwidth, they told me that it was more like posting....for the sake of posting. Which I would refer to as fellowship ;D or even just being social. they felt it was misleading newer posters of my knowlage base, due to my unusually high post count.

Haven't posted much over there lately ;D I stick to PM's and a new post only when neccesary philosophy ;)

besides, I like talking to you all better ;) ;D not many online places a person can have a fun discussion and also address isssues and have deep theological discussions all in the same place and feel safe doing it.

   I agree with you, Gary... it is really nice here. The Brothers and Sisters are wonderful and make this a place of true fellowship.

Another AMEN Amorus!

This is beautiful AND WILL BE AN ABSOLUTE REALITY! Even in this short life, our Heavenly Father has His Arms around us, and only HE can give us real peace and joy. The promises for eternity with JESUS are beyond our imagination, but they will be absolute reality as if we were already there. The obvious differences will be that we won't have to be doing battle with the devil every day, and we will be free of this earthly body of flesh that causes us so many problems. GOD will most definitely give us a glorified body at HIS appointed time, and the trials of this short life will be over. There will be no tears, no sorrow, no sadness - JUST peace and joy with JESUS forever. We will be saints in the LIGHT of JESUS, and we will know only the real and PURE love of JESUS. We will simply be members of the same body, the BODY which is the BODY OF CHRIST!
