Title: The Overcomers Post by: Willowbirch on June 15, 2006, 10:46:16 AM Genesis 3:17-23; Revelation 3:10-12
Once there was a beautiful Man who walked with God in a garden tabernacle, illuminated by the light of his Father's face; but when the hour of testing came, the Man fell, and a dragon stole his crown. Then the Man was sent from the orchard, and instead of the heavenly light of his Father, he wore coarse clothes to protect him from the wilderness. Then God said, "One day Man will be beautiful anew; I will give him My Name which will be his strength, and when he is tested, he will overcome that thieving dragon. Then I will walk again with Man in My garden, in the cool of the New Morning, and he will be a pillar of light in My temple, and never again will I drive him away." The hidden manna - not only angelic bread. No, not bread, however sweet. He who overcomes, to him will be given the right to take communion with the angels of God; he will break bread with the cherubim and seraphim. To him it will be given to join the feast at Michael's table, with Gabriel and all of the warrior hosts of the Lord. He will not merely eat; he will join the Thanksgiving Rest of all the bright and wonderful beings of Christ's highest heavens. "There is the throne of David; and there, from care released, the song of them that triumph, the shout of them that feast. And they, who with their leader, have conquered in the fight, forever and forever are clad in robes of white."
