Distortions & Lies satan wants to Spread

The Devil has infiltrated the professed church with manmade traditions and false doctrines. The Bible prophesies of this "falling away". Today's Christians know the hellivision guide better than the Bible.

Psalm 97:10 O you who love the Lord, hate evil; He preserves the lives of His saints (the children of God), He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

Only when you start living holy can you know what true praise is. You can say with the Psalmist, "GREAT is the LORD and GREATLY to be praised, and his GREATNESS is unsearchable!" You will know what "Thank you, Jesus!" really means because you've seen the power of God to transform you from a sin-plagued wretch to a RIGHTEOUS son of the living God. You will be a living miracle. Know ye not that the Bible says, "As he is, so are we in this world," and in another place, we are to be "partakers of the divine nature"? Why is it so rare that we see a Christian manifesting forth the attributes of God?

When a Christian studies and obeys his Bible, he is free from the millions of distortions and lies told inside and outside of churches. He will walk in power--power to live right, talk right, think right, serve right, love right. Everything right comes from knowing the Word of God and walking in the power of the Holy Ghost. To be Bible-minded is to be Christ-minded. Nothing in the Christian life should be divorced from the Lord Jesus Christ and His word--whether washing dishes, soulwinning, working, studying, fellowshipping or sitting in a church pew.

1 Corinthians 9:24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but [only] one receives the prize? So run [your race] that you may lay hold [of the prize] and make it yours.

Hebrews 4:12 For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.

Brother this is a post that should always be readily available along with the one you linked it too. It's a good referance.

Thank you sister but this is Gods Word, not mine. We must remember that satan is really trying to fool people right now, that includes Christians. Only by studing Gods Word, the Bible are we able to free ourselves from satan. By learning what tricks he may pull against us. I worked on this last night after reading a post by Raven. I though that a easier topic would be this for new-born again Christians. 

Remember they need to crawl, before they walk.

Brother, this is another excellent reminder that we place all of our faith and trust in JESUS CHRIST, not a man, not a tag, not a label, not a denomination, and not some church made with human hands.

JESUS CHRIST never fails, never lies, never breaks promises, and NEVER leaves or forsakes us. JESUS CHRIST, HIS Love, and HIS Sacrifice on the CROSS for us is the devil's worst nightmare. JESUS CHRIST defeated the curse of sin and death on the CROSS, and the devil knows that faith in JESUS CHRIST is the only way to escape eternal punishment with the devil in hell. This is why JESUS CHRIST is always the number one target of the devil to somehow twist and distort who JESUS CHRIST is and what HE did on the CROSS. Once we belong to JESUS CHRIST, no power in the universe can pluck us out of HIS HANDS. This is why the precious name of JESUS CHRIST is hated and feared by the devil and all of the devil's minions.

And the devil will get more clever and clever as we get closer to the END. Even in my own life I can see it happening. But as long as I keep my eyes on JESUS, I know everything is gonna be alright!

Thank you DreamWeaver, what an awesome reminder to keep our eyes focused on Jesus.
Thru His Word and constant prayer, we will recognize the evil ones ways.

Here is something I lean on...
2 Cor. 1:3-5  NIV  3. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4. who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 5. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.

Greek:  Comfort, Parakaleo.  para: to come alongside.  kaleo: called to.  Called to come alongside.

I have a tough time daily (as I'm sure we all have) with my focus, my walk, my witnessing...but I always keep a copy of The Word with me wherever I go.
It seems the evil one is always throwing out something for me to trip over, but when I remember this verse, that God has called me to come alongside Him, then that's what I do.
I try to remember,  it's not about me!

True, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 11:14,15.....satan comes as an angel of light to the Christian world selling his brand of religion.

Then tell me....why does not the Christian world observe the Lord's Day...the 7th day sabbath...as Jesus Christ ask Christians to do ?

Because as you have deined before, the Lord gives us a new commandment.  John 13:34 I give you a new commandment: that you should love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too should love one another.

We as CHRISTIANS, can worship God, 24/7  or another words we can worship God at anytime. Not just saturday, or sunday, but any day of the week, any time of the week. The cult you are following denies the Word of Christ.

Salvation is belief and faith in JESUS CHRIST as Lord and Saviour. There is no other way to be saved, regardless of how many laws someone keeps or how many good deeds they do. The Old Testament Sabbath was a shadow of what was yet to come. The reality of that shadow was, and is JESUS CHRIST. JESUS CHRIST is REAL, and HE is not a DAY. Comparing JESUS CHRIST to a day would be and is an insult to GOD. JESUS CHRIST is our SABBATH and believers will rest in Him for eternity. JESUS CHRIST is the LORD over all, including ALL DAYS, ALL HOURS, ALL MINUTES, AND ALL SECONDS. Those who belong to JESUS CHRIST have their hearts SEALED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD. No power in the universe can break the SEAL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, and this HOLY SEAL should never be compared to Mosaic Law, man-made doctrines, and especially teachings of a false prophetess called E.G. White.

Worshipping the Lord is every day, every hour, every second, in everything that I do.
