Title: Garden of Glory Post by: Garden of Glory on May 17, 2006, 10:49:34 PM I am a pastor and full time missionary, without denominational affiliation working for the Master by His calling in Asia.
I am a Blood bought, born again son of the Lord Jesus Christ. His life in me is the only source of righteousness; my love for Him compels me to study the Bible for myself, as this is my duty. I consider John 12:48 as covering the OT and the NT. I have circled the globe many times, both as an unbeliever and as I child of the Lord. I have lived in Israel, Europe, Central America and all over N. America. I have met a king, a princess, many ambassadors of foreign lands and powerful folks of all stripes. I have slept on the floor of jungle huts with fellow christians, shared their simple meals, preached their church services and supplied them with smuggled Bibles. I love Christian truths whatever the sources, barring no one on a denominational basis. I reject "christian traditions", however hoary with age or venerated by "Church Fathers", Catholic or "Protestant". (See Mark 7:13) Age and repetition do not equate with Bible truth. I'm pretty sure I have already welcomed you but in case I haven't welcome to Christians Unite. I have already read some of your posts and enjoyed doing so. It does sound like you have some interesting experiences, many of which I have also had. I look forward to hearing some more about them. I hope our time together will be for edification. Perhaps I should be very candid: I do not debate, respond to hurtful or angry souls and will not discuss politics or opinionize on current events. It's just not my calling or burden. I do not subscribe to many popular Christian concepts: I am not "Charismatic", "Dominionalist" or "Futurist". Now that these "cats" are outta of their bags, I will let my future posts elsewhere establish themselves on the Rock, I pray.
