and on Sunday I went to church, still not feeling to great so I went to bed and slept for another hour..

That's cool, I used to work for Prudential Insurance  before I started to get sick, I had a hard time walking, and the manager or team manager whichever, wanted me to work overtime a lot, he was a new manager, so we clashed cause I couldn't work overtime everyday. I even worked on Christmas morning one time cause he was backed up. Then he didn't want to pay me overtime he wanted me to take comp time instead, when I told him that was against the law, and I wanted my overtime in my next paycheck he stated giving me a hard time. So much so, that I started getting hives from holding my anger in ..... finally I had to report him to HR cause he started to harrass me by monitoring my every move.... So then I found out that the HR person was haveing and extramartial affair with my supervisor and I just couldn't handle the pressure the supervisor and the manager were putting on me so when I reported the manager to HR the HR person sided with the manager..........that is of course until I told him  that I would write up a report to his boss and then I just told them I QUIT.

pretty soon that's what it will be here too Brother..but you know that is prophecy comming to pass.

Sister, sorry to hear that your ex-bosses were doing that to you. God had better plans for you anyway. ;D But I'm sure you know that already sister.

HR man didn't want me to quit so they did not accept my resignation, and they just kept me on the payroll for 3 weeks after I quit. Finally I called HR to tell them I wasn't working there anymore and to stop sending me paychecks. And I found out that HR man and my supervisor both got fired cause some one else snitched on them. Hr dept wanted me to come back to work, but I told them I wouldn't work for the same manager. The 3 weeks extra pay was back pay they owed me from comp time.. came in handy too  ;D

Yup, I know that already sister. I have been wondering how long it would take others to realize it though. I filled my gas tank and 2 five gallon gas cans. I was told gas is going up within the next few days.

Then I went to wok for Convergys and I had a team lead job for Intel, but then I really got sick and I had to be wheeled out of work and that was it after that I was disabled and haven't worke since.... sometimes I wish I could go back to work, but I just don't know how much I would be able to handle.

just imagine before there were even refineries and the need for gasoline and crude oil, God knew that these things were going to happen. Some people are just so blind. I believe it will get a lot worse before the Rapture Brother, cause there are still a lot of people and tribes in many languages who have not even heard the Word of God and don't even have the Bible in their language, and Jesus said this good news of the gospel must be preached to all the world.

If you look at my picture, the highway is about 1/2 mile away from my home or more.  ;D  Course I've been living here since the 1980's. Back when the population here was only about 100 people. Now it's up to about 250+. :'(

I rent now but wish that I still owned my own homes.

DW, I just can't help but saying this. You live exactly where elderly people like PR an myself would love to live  :P :P ;D ;D

It is nice but living here has given me a lot more of the Lord's work to do. My door is always being knocked on by someone that always has a need of some kind.

That is a fact. I love the country living.

PR, when I lived in Mass. I lived in a town that wasn't very small, yet it seemed to me that I knew everyone there, my door was always being knocked on too. I must say I didn't mind at all, even one night after midnight a woman knocked on my door to ask me if she could sleep on my couch cause her roomate had kicked her out. I didn't even know this woman, someone told her to ask me for help  :o. Of course she ended up staying with me for a little over a month. There are many, many similar stories such as this one that I can share. I do miss helping people out, although I don't have the energy or the perfect health I had back then, I'm sure I could do it all over again if I had to. I miss being a blessing to people in that sort of way. But God (  :D ) had more things for me to do so now I am a mom to 2 teenage girls (whew)
who are younger than at least 3 of my grandchildren.
So I guess no matter where I went at this point I would still have some (teenage) noise around, huh?

Sounds like it to me. A lot of those coming to my door are teenagers with various problems. Each one is seeking for more than they have. Being in government housing also means a lot of them showing up here with their hands out. I also had one woman with several kids show up at my door that I have never seen before. She had been turned down at all the local agencies because they were out of funds. She was in bad need of help for her children with no where to go. One of the other residents here sent her to us. My wife and I were able to help her out. She is now working full time and yet she homeschools her children too. She just came to the door the other day with some money and told us to give it to someone else in need.

I remember one family in Mass that had just flwon in from PR (not you, the island  ;D) and the family member that was supposed to help them skipped out on them. I found them in the street in the middle of February in New England, with no coats and summer attire.(BRRRR). I took them home with me all 5 of them, got them winter clothes from the clothing I kept in the basement everyone in town used to bring it to me so I could donate it, got the kids in school, got mom and dad jobs, and emergency government help. And they moved on to RI. To make a long story short, they bought a house and they were trying to sell their almost brand new refrigerator and gas range, at the same time my brother was then staying with me while he moved his family to Ma. and he went to look at the fridge and stove to buy them, when the people selling the appliances found out that he was my brother, they gave it to him as a gift, their selling price was 750 for both. My brother didn't have that much money. Any way they found out he was my brother, by word of mouth, and I still lived in Ma. they were now living in RI. God Is Good!!!!

It is very nice, though I do have people asking questions. Those that live accross the river though think I('m a pagan. But they are hard core moron folks. I have witnessed to them in the past. A few on my side of the river, listen to what I have said about Christ.  I sometimes have them asking a new question.

You know, I believe that God has placed each of us in a spot where He feels we are needed.

I love the country. This house was truely a gift. We just "happend" to drive by the day the sign went up and the seller just "happened" to be a family friend ;D

Then thats where your suppose to be. ;D

Yeah I was hopeing that someone would pick up on that ;D

Like I said, God has deffinately blessed us with this home.

That depends on how small the city was. I was raised in a very small farming city. Anyone raised there knew what farming life was all about. The only work available for teens was on the farms.

I love it when we drive thru the Smokey Mountains I just wish I could just find a little house and stay there :D

I've seen a lot of city folk that say that but when it comes down to actually handling it they have a problem. They can't deal with the long travel times to get to Drs, hospitals, grocery stores and such. Many get discouraged and move back to the city.

Not me I only get out of the house to go to Church, Dr appt, labs, and shopping. So I love getting out of the house.  ;D ;D
Our church is a half hour's drive, so I don't ming that, and I have a deep freeze I can stock up on frozen foods, and on groceries, and I can do what DW does, plant and can.  ;D  ;D

Sounds like fun to me.

yep, I'll just sit there in my rocking chair and talk to my Jesus and love every minute of it.  :D
