I dont know if I introduced myself yet but I'm 25 years old on my second marriage and I just had my 3rd baby 2 months ago.  Great marriage!  My husband is a believer, in fact we came to Christ together.  Long but awesome story, I'd love to tell!  I've been looking for a forum like this, but havent had much luck until now, unfortunatley I dont see many people here.  I would like to ask a question to get some posts going.  Who are your favorite Christian authors?  I love to read non-fiction Christian books to supplement my bible reading: such as Max Lucado(love him), Joyce Meyers, Rick Warren, Bruce Wilkinson, Elizabeth George... Who do you read most often and why?

Some of my favorite Christian authors are:
Bilquis Sheikh, Anne Graham Lotz, Bob George, Max Lucado, Brother Andrew, Neil T. Anderson, David Ring, and many more.

You'll see groups of folks online at different times of day. Some are even here in the middle of the night!  :o
But be warned - they could be the crazy folks.  :-X

Some are here 24/7, just for the record I'm not one of them. But I do admit that  sometimes I am here in the middle of the night.  ;D

Yep, forum stats tells it all. The new forum software has been in and running for 67 days and no one has that many days wracked up.

Hi Leahbeans, welcome to the list.  Thanks for getting us talking in the women's room again ;)! 

I like to read Christian fiction and non-fiction.  I just attended a workshop partially based on the book Lies Women Believe which I will begin reading soon.  Anyone else reading it?

You'll see that I am here weird times, because I am 12 hours ahead of you, so your early morning is my night, etc.  I'm posting this now at 10 pm my time and it's 8 am in the Central time zone according to my little clock in my office.

yes it is and especially when something is weighing heavily on your heart and you need someone to pray with or for you.

When I *see* them in here, I worry about them. I send up prayers for them. I assume that they have health stuff keeping them awake.  :-\

Yes sister that is very true, many times I haven't been able to sleep because of health issues, adn it has been a blessing to come to the forum and find a brother, who understands. A brother I can pray for and know that he is praying for me as well.
CU is truely a blessing, I thank God for having provided this 'sanctuary', if you will for us. And I thank God for all my brothers and sisters here that I may not otherwise have met.

And I appreciate those prayers. It is not always health problems that have me here. Sometimes it is because I feel drawn to be here.

Amen sister, I am truly thankful for those very same things. God is good to us.

Sister, I think outside of 3-4 others, you know the most about me health wise. The prayers are very well recieved. They are also a blessing, for me.

Sister, you know I love to pray for my CU family. Cause, y'all are my family, my family in Christ. That is a blessing from God.

It's always a privlege to pray for you and everyone else here at CU. When people pray for others, they are as blessed as the person they pray for.
