Title: Heaven WON'T Have....
Post by: sincereheart on March 10, 2006, 09:37:38 AM
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death,
neither sorrow,
nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain:
for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:4
 :D

And no more bills....
or deadlines....
or back-stabbing....
or gossip.....
or resentment....
or hate....
or hurt....
or sickness....
or evil....
or arrogance...
or pride....

After last weeks sermon on Heaven, I started thinking what wouldn't be there! A family discussion on that led me to realize that we all have things of this world that we'll be thankful to be free from.

I'm curious on what you guys are thankful that Heaven WON'T have..... :-*

I think that you have just about covered it all.

ANOTHER AMEN SINCEREHEART!

I really think that you covered it for all Christians. Each thing that you mentioned on your list could cover many others, so I really think that your list covered hundreds of things. I was thinking about one word while reading your post, and that one word sums up what all sweet Christians should be striving for all their lives:

Matthew 22:36-40  NASB  "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?" And He said to him, " 'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.' "This is the great and foremost commandment. "The second is like it, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.' "On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."

All Christians are striving for LOVE in this short journey here, but there will come a day when we are surrounded by nothing but LOVE. It makes me happy just to think about this.

KEEP LOOKING UP!!

Love In Christ,
Tom

Romans 5:1-2 NASB  Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God.
