Title: DON'T BUY PEPSI!! Post by: Evangelist on February 23, 2006, 04:18:32 PM Just in case there's any Pepsi lovers here who don't know that the Mormon church owns most of it, there's now this:
Pepsi has a new "patriotic" can coming out with pictures of the Empire State Building, and the Pledge of Allegiance on them. However, Pepsi left out two little words on the pledge, "Under God." Pepsi said they didn't want to offend anyone. In that case, we don't want to offend anyone at the Pepsi corporate office, either! So if we don't buy any Pepsi product, they will not be offended when they don't receive our money that has the words "In God We Trust" on it Title: Re: DON'T BUY PEPSI!! Post by: curious on February 25, 2006, 01:27:16 AM Hello Evangelist: That is an Urban Legend about Pepsi.I thought it sounded famiar,so I looked it up to make sure. You can go back to drinking Pepsis if you like them. Title: Re: DON'T BUY PEPSI!! Post by: nChrist on February 26, 2006, 10:52:54 AM I hand pick my own COFFEE from the aisles of Wal-Mart. They are so nice there that they have the COFFEE already ground and in fancy little jars. In fact, they are so nice that they provide security to protect you from the wild Wal-Mart natives while you are there. They have a man in a funny looking scooter with a yellow revolving light on the top that scares away the Wal-Mart natives while you shop. In all this time, I haven't been speared, kidnapped, or held hostage a single time. COFFEE!! Title: Re: DON'T BUY PEPSI!! Post by: Willowbirch on February 27, 2006, 09:53:50 PM Pepsi eats holes in your brain. (So my aunt has told me.) Diet Pepsi especially makes brain holes (so my cousin has told me). If you beat someone over the head with a liter of Pepsi, they might get brain damage (so says my dad.)

But they forgot one thing, Christians have a lot of get-togethers and we don't drink booze, we only drink soft drinks, I guess they will realize that when they see their revenues going down the drain. Now I have a question: If the Mormons think it is SO bad to drink soda pop, why do they even own it ??? ::) That would almost be like MADD buying booze for their teenagers and and then handing them the car keys. Title: Re: DON'T BUY PEPSI!! Post by: airIam2worship on February 28, 2006, 09:22:39 AM COFFEE!! Coffee for me too, make that 2 cups. Title: Re: DON'T BUY PEPSI!! Pepsi has not created any packaging containing an edited version of America's Pledge of Allegiance. A patriotic package used in 2001 by Dr Pepper (which is not a part of PepsiCo) was inappropriately linked to this rumor. Dr Pepper's position is very clearly articulated at: http://www.dpsu.com/drpepper_can.html. http://www.pepsiworld.com/help/false_rumor.php http://www.dpsu.com/drpepper_can.html.
