Title: ALL FEAR COMES FROM NOT TRUSTING GOD AND HIS WORD
Post by: God Sent on February 21, 2006, 08:12:04 PM
The Word says:

Be careful for nothing;but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Philip.4:6

In every thing give thanks:for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thess.5:18

Take therefore no thought for the morrow:for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Matthew 6:34

We are so busy dragging the past around with us,and projecting it to the future, that we forget to occupy today. If our minds, spirits, and souls are filled with fear and confusion, projection and avoidance,we are no earthly good today. We are preoccupied with dragging this junk around, and projecting it into the future. That's why we need Prozac,Valium, and sleeping pills. That's why we have ulcers.

Forget the past,forget the future.

Let God be God today in your life!

The evil of today is sufficient unto itself (Matthew 6:34).

Take therefore no thought for the marrow:for the marrow shall take thought for the things of itself.Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Matthew 6:34

Your life hangs in the balance.Make sure you are in the right kingdom all the time.

GOD BLESS.

I think what you are trying to say is this : Deut 6:13 "Thou shalt FEAR the Lord thy God and serve him, and shalt swear by his name."
When we consciously fear God it is a love and an untold degree of respect. It is a fear that empowers us to see as God sees. When we do not fear the Lord, then we live in the palm of the devil... and he will make us fear God in an ungodly manner. When men fear God like theyre enemy, they in fact are fearing/honouring the devil... and the devil is whispering of Gods righteous judgment in the persons ear. In the moment when you fear hell you are the farthest from God, and on your way to hell.

Matthew 10:28 " And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul : but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."

It is such a wonder for us who are now on the other side, to consider why people would ever want to remain terrified of enemies or God, whichever way they see life/death.

Excellant post though God Sent. I'm sure everyone knew what you were saying, but I think the "fear of the Lord" is a good study in words, thats all.
God bless.
