Why do you think I don't fly anymore. In 1977 I was in a crash, at Chicago O'Hare airport. That crash though help bring me back to God. That and my late wife who I was going to see, at that moment in time. The plane blew out 2 tires, I could look at the runway, out of my window.

It has been a weird winter all around. This is the first really cold period here since winter started. Usually Jan and Feb is freezing the whole time with lots of snow and ice. This year we got some just before winter officially started and then it warmed up and stayed that way until today.

That sounds as exciting as flying off an aircraft carrier in a Cod flight. I could see the flight deck just about a yard away from me until it disappeared.  It was even more fun landing on one. Or getting shot at while flying in a helicopter during a storm.

I HAD SOMEONE ASK ME AND I QUOTE, "IS THIS A HOSPITAL?", AND THEY WERE STANDING RIGHT IN FROUNT OF ME INSIDE THE HOSPITAL. IT TAKES ALL THE STRENGHT I CAN MUSTER TO TELL THEM NO ITS THE NEXT STREET OVER. JUST TO CLUE YOU IN THERE IS NO NEXT STREET OVER.

WE HAVE TWO FLOORS IN THIS HOSPITAL. AND IT IS NOTICEABLE OUTSIDE. I HAD A MAN GO IN THE ELEVATOR, GO UP , COME DOWN, AND REPEATED THIS ABOUT FOUR TIMES.

FINALLY I CAUGHT HIM OFF THE ELEVATOR AND I ASKED HIM "CAN I HELP YOU FIND SOMTHING SIR?"
HE REPLIED "YES I AM TRING TO GET TO THE FIFTH FLOOR ICU"
I FELT LIKE TELLING HIM HIS ELEVATOR LEFT WITHOUT HIM. I AM TERRIBLE AINT I?

My oldest son works for a company that takes care of different products by phone. When you buy a product (such as stereo's, dvd players) there is a number in the paper work that comes with it so if you have a problem with the product you can call them. He is one of those that gets those calls. He can tell of some real lulu's of a phone calls.

He just told me yesterday of someone that called and wanted his computer printer exchanged because it didn't work. It didn't work just because it ran out of ink. Even though he was told this he still wanted it exchanged. When exchanges are done that way ink cartridges don't get shipped with them. He still wanted it exchanged. That is just one of the least of them though. There are more doozey of a stories than that.

JUST PRAY THAT THE LORD GRANT ME PATIENTS(AND NOT THE SICK KIND) BECAUSE I SURE DO NEED THEM.

WELL GOTTA GO FOR NOW I DIDNOT MEAN ANYTHING BY THE AGE THING. THE SPECIAL LADY I WAS TALKING ABOUT HAD ALOT OF PAIN IN HER LIFE INCLUDING BEING PUSHED OFF A MOUNTAIN BYA DRUNK DRIVER, AND SEIING HER ONLY BLOOD SISTER MURDERED BY HER BROTHER INLAW. SHE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON HER FACE EVEN WHEN DOCTORS TOLDD HER SHE ONLY HAD 15% OF HER HEART WORKING. WE PRAISED GOD FOR THAT BLESSING YOU CAN BELIEVE. SHE WAS IN A WHEEL CHAIR FROM HER ACCIDENT AND HER PRAYER WAS STILL NOT FOR HER OWN NEEDS BUT ALWAYS FOR OTHERS. I ALWAYS LOOKED UP TO HER. AND EVEN THOUGH I DID NOT WANT HER TO LEAVE I REJOYCED BECAUSE SHE IS IN GOOD HANDS.

Sister, that is quite a testomy for her. All I can say is, AMEN!
