Blood lineage is dependant upon the father not the mother, otherwise Mary could have not been a human either or the sin nature would have come from her to Jesus.

I am  O-  hubby is B+   our son is B-   Our son's blood is a mix of  his father and mother.

Speaking spiritually, not biologically......The Bible considers the father and mother in lineage, as the two gospels of Matthew and Luke show us Mary's and Joseph's lineages as significant and each contributing promises bytheir union, but the obvious inheritance of sin and death from Adam was negated by the Holy Spirit with Mary being mother. We inherit sin and death from Adam, our physical father, but through Jesus we inherit new life upon receiving the new birth - our spirtual firstborn brother. The firstborn priviledges and the double portion given are an interesting Bible study which is part of what the book is about.

Hosea 11:10  They shall walk after the LORD: he shall roar like a lion: when he shall roar, then the children shall tremble from the west.
