Ok first let me first say welcome to the forums.

Then let me secondly ask...what do you mean by a Christian Community.

Either way it goes I can tell you step number 1.  PUT GOD FIRST.  You do that then all other things will fall into place.

Thankyou for your response of course putting God first is vital with out Him we are nothing. What I mean by Christian Community is I have an opportunity to establish a community within the Church a residential community and was seeking ideas as to what is required.Naturally It will be based on Acts 2:46

Regards

Hello MikeO, and welcome to Christians Unite forum.

I hope this will help y'all. The Bible is the final authority, for all matters at hand. Don't follow the doctrine of man, but of God.

1.a The Lord is always first, no matter what.

1.b Rejoicing in our faith in the Lord.

2. Provide fellowship and mutual support.

3. Christian evangelism, faithful to the proclamation of the gospel.

4. Speaking to society with a common voice whenever possible.

You cannot act together until y'all pray and walk together, and understand each other better. So in the early period, your primary focus should be on the these four activities.

All participants should be expected to.........

1. Advance the purpose of Christianity, through witnessing.

2. Support the organization, through personal participation.

3. Share in fellowship, prayer and dialogue with other participants in Christian Churches Together.

4. Join others in common a ministry if they are led by the Holy Spirit.

5. The Bible is the final authority, for all matters at hand. Don't follow the doctrine of man, but of God.

Least I think this is what you are asking.
