Do not have a favorite. Enjoy all, except I find many becoming filled with evil ways and doings. It is getting to the point that a Christian will have to walk away from this wordliness.

My cousin was "Tri-state All Around Champion" back in the late 70's.  His two main-stays were Calf Roping and Bull Riding.  Yep - he lived to tell war stories!  By the way - his name is 'Buster'.  (No Joke!)

(FYI - "Tri-state" encompassed the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles and a chunk of New Mexico.)

Too cool! LOL @ 'Buster'..... If it wasn't that, it prolly would've been 'Junior'!  :-X

(FYI - "Tri-state" encompassed the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles and a chunk of New Mexico.)

Just about every where we've lived there's been a tri-state region. And it's referred to as THE tri-state like there's no others.... :-\

Do men really consider wrassling a 'sport'? Or do they just secretly envy the wrasslers those spandex undies? :-X

I think the choreography and the athleticism of the controlled movements are what wrassling fans sub consciencely(sp) see. Very similar to the dance, (ballet). The costumes are also similar. The sport of it is perhaps in the ablity to make the movements and falls and make them appear as real?????

Hmmmm.... interesting! I know of three (that would be a total of nine states). Is it just a southern thang?  ???

Ok, I spewed! I soooooo don't buy that!  ;)

Yup. I can see that one. Tutu's can be made of spandex... ;D

By my count  ;D there are 53 actual 3-state intersections, and at least another 3 or 4 that are close enought that they probably share the same local TV.

Not in the Bay Area anymore. But I lived there from the time I was 11 until I was 30. I live in Indiana now.
My parents grew up there and still live in the Bay Area.
49ers rock!!!!

My husband is from MN. We met when he was living in the Bay Area working at United Airlines.
I knew we were in trouble from the start. We are a mixed marriage. He likes the Wilds, Vikings and Twins.
Please pray with me that he will one day overcome his poor taste in athletic teams.
I thought things would work smoother because Tom (my husband) was living with his uncle and cousins.
Unfortunately they are all A's and Traitors Raiders fans- so their taste in sports is even worse than Tom's.

Yes, the Giants miss Dusty and he misses them. Doesn't seem right to see him in a Cubs uniform.

My favorite baseball team is the Giants but a close second favorite team is any team who beats the Braves.

Hello Sister Eva,

I'm positive that competitive cheerleading counts, but you're going to have to help me out with the other one. I'll have to confess that I don't know what "Orachtas" is. I'm an older guy, and I don't know what some of the new stuff is. As an example, had no idea what an "Ipod" was until just recently, but we do have indoor plumbing and electricity.   ;D

Well, it is Irish Dancing.  Like in Riverdance.

As far as being old, no way.  I bet you are about my age.  Give or take a year or two.  Indoor plumbing and electricity, what are they? ???

My daughter got one of those i-pods for Christmas.

;D  All I know is that you pull up and down on a handle and water comes out. With electricity, you get a pretty glass jar on the side of the house with a little wheel that goes round and round, and you get a bill for watching the wheel go around.   ;D

I don't know how to dance, and it's really a pretty good trick just to walk on some days. However, I do watch some dancing on television and some of the local square dancing and clogging from time to time. I have watched folks River-Dance on television, but it looks like square-dancing and clogging would be more fun. Most of the competitions we have locally are for clogging, and it's a lot of fun to watch.

I'm just shy of 59, and I know that many of the young folks on the forum would consider this to be ancient.   ;D   I'll just say that I'm young at heart, but I would need an overhaul and frame-straightening if I was a car.   ;D

Love In Christ,
Tom

lol  ... football season is when the corn gets harvested, it's all done growing by that time. As the sayin goes here, "You know it's football season when the harvest commences."

;D   ;D   ROFL! - You guys are killin' me.

I was immediately reminded of the front leaning rest position back in the 60s to watch the grass grow. I also remember turning rocks over on gravel parking lots so that they could sun on the other side. These are important tasks that someone has to do.   ;D

;D  All I know is that you pull up and down on a handle and water comes out.

Hello Sister Eva,

I'm positive that competitive cheerleading counts, but you're going to have to help me out with the other one. I'll have to confess that I don't know what "Orachtas" is. I'm an older guy, and I don't know what some of the new stuff is. As an example, had no idea what an "Ipod" was until just recently, but we do have indoor plumbing and electricity.   ;D
you do ,you have plumbing wow and electricity :D well we have running water ::)  and that help a lot with some shores ;)

Hello Sister Def,

You and your brother will be in my prayers. I'm very happy to hear that he has accepted CHRIST! We can put everything else in GOD'S Hands and HIS Will be done.

In the meantime:
