Umm, 72 Dolphins achieve a perfect season only, bro. 73 & 74 Dolphins won the SuperBowl. I also couldn't believe it when I heard the 72 phins were glad to have all the Glory to themselves. Satisfaction is guaranteed for another year or so...or all time  Wink

Might want to check your football history there at_the_Cross ... Grin

Quote
In 1972 the Dolphins completed the NFL's only perfect season (as of the 2005-2006 season), winning every regular season game, two playoff games and Super Bowl VII, defeating the Washington Redskins 14-7.

Don Shula led the Dolphins to two Super Bowl titles in 1972 and 1973, making him one of only five coaches to win consecutive Super Bowls.

Can't have a perfect season without a perfect ending   Grin   The record actually shows 72 Phins really went 20-0

17-0 regular season

plus

20-14 playoff win over the Cleveland Browns
21-17 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Championship Game
14-7 victory over Washington Redskins in SB.   Awesome game!

Surely someday some other team will do this too, but obviously not as easy as it seems.

Steelers look mighty good.   Seahawks don't look too shaby either.   Should be a great SB game this year.

SuperBowl VII was played in 73 Grin
The one thing I checked on is...the 1948 Cleveland Browns team became the first pro football team to complete the entire season undefeated. Grin

In case you didn't know, I don't follow football. I rather watch corn grow. Grin

I'd rather watch the corn grow during Daytona, Indy 500 and other NASCAR races when the corn should be growing.  Wink But, I do enjoy going to stock and funny cars racing on a dirt track though.

The Supper Bowl is the one football game I watch each year. Grin

Its to cold during the winter to watch corn grow.

Yeah this weeks games are gonna be great!   No matter what happens, I will rejoice when the PATS drop no matter who beats em.  Anyhow, they should all be great games!

DUDE!!! I totally dissed you!  I never responded!  I'm sorry!  REALLY!!!  Now, onto the important things... Grin  Yup.  I'm a bitter little man.  I was going to buy a COLTS dog collar for my miniature dachshunde man, Wilson.  Not gonna do that now!  I'm gonna wait a whole couple-a-months afore I go and do that!  That'll show them slackers!!!
