121  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Re:Pharaoh's chariots found in Red Sea? on: January 23, 2005, 09:40:39 PM
Why do the movies show the Pharaoh always over looking his army being destroyed? Huh

Exodus 15:4 Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.

2 Corinthians 13:5-9. 5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
6 But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.
7 Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.
8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.
9 For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.

That would be someth'n, both Pennsylvania teams in the superbowl. I'm not too sure the Eagles can get it done without T. Owens though.

Hahaha Grin two wild card teams in the NFC conference championship game...through St Louis. The sooner Atlanta gets KO the better, IMHO.

The "Great Image" of Nebuchadnezzar.

Quote
Daniel 2:32 This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,
Daniel 2:33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.

Quote
Daniel 2:38 And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold.

Babylon{Lion Daniel 7:4} - Jeremiah 49:14-22,28; Daniel chapter 4 used both the lion and the eagle as pictures of Nebuchadnezzar.

Quote
Daniel 2:39 And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.

Medes-Persians Daniel 5:28 {Bear - 3 ribs - Babylon, Egypt and Lydia. Daniel 7:5}

Greek/Roman{Leopard - Daniel 7:6} - [Belly and his thighs of brass],

Quote
Daniel 2:40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.

{Dreadful and Terrible - Daniel 7:7; Revelation 13:1-2}

Quote
Daniel 2:43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

Quote
Daniel 8:9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.

Fulfilled by Antiochus Epiphanes.

Quote
Daniel 8:20 The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia.

Medes-Persians{Bear - Daniel 7:5} - [Silver - Daniel 2:39] Isaiah 44:28, Isaiah 45:1-4

Quote
Daniel 8:21 And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.

Greek{Leopard - Daniel 7:6} - [Brass - Daniel 2:39] --- Alexander the Great

Quote
Daniel 8:22 Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.

Macedonia, Syria, Egypt, Asia Minor, were ruled by Alexander’s four generals --- Casander, Lysimachus, Seleucus and Ptolemy following the death of Alexander in 323 BC.

Quote
Daniel 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
8:25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

Some scholars say Antiochus Epiphanes has fulfilled some of this, but also showing what the Antichrist will be like in the end times. Research the Seleucid dynasty and also Antiochus Epiphanes(antiGod of the old testament), you can find him in the Maccabees, you'll look at Daniel chapter 8 differently.

Oh yeah? Well you don't have any evidence of what hockey does to people, so I'll just stick with it! Grin (it is still my favorite sport, despite all of the attention football is getting. Tongue)
Well I know more players get hurt in hockey, then any other sport. Grin

I would've thought it was Boxing Wink

I was hoping the Bills would get in, but because I had doubt they lost Grin. The Pats are saying three titles in four years over Philly in four weeks, like Dallas in 92, 93 and 95 era. Counting on the Eagles being there *cough-cough* and them too. Philly has already loss the last two games without Terrell and New England has a road block going through Pennsylvania. It's to bad the Steelers need to wait around for a month to win it all.

Did anyone perchance catch the game wherein Peyton Manning, the NFL's BEST quarterback, beat the 20 year record set by Marino in '84?  Not to mention beating the Chargers and taking the number 3 slot... Grin

Yeah, but Marino seem alittle brokenhearted a couple weeks before hand though. Sad that Marino never got a ring, at least the Colts have a running game. I'm wondering if they will pull a Philly and keep the starters out or if Manning will add some more.

Word on the street has it that Manning will start, but play little. The game is pointless to Indy, apart from the fact you don't ever play to lose. But who knows?  McNabb played longer than they'd intended him too, and still lost. I wouldn't count Denver out yet.  It's win or lose for them. Win or lose for us, we still sit at number 3! Do ya hear the stampede a comin'?! Grin

It would give Peyton something to shoot for next year after giving Denver a win this week and frist round in the playoffs Grin. I mean with a Jets win, the Jets would go on to play the Chargers while Denver heads to Indy to do it again in front of Indy's home town Cheesy. I would hate to see a repeat of last years frist round victory by Indy over Denver again Wink.

5. Jets need a win/tie(Rams Grin), or either a [Bills/Broncos] loss/tie.

6. Denver needs a win(Indy better win Angry) and a loss by the Bills plus a [Jaguars/Ravens] loss/tie. [Better conference record over the Bills.]

7. Bills need a win(Steelers Cry need I say more).

8. Jaguars need a win(Raiders) and losses by Broncos/Bills.

9. Ravens need alot of help, losses by everyone(not the Jets though) even the phins.<-------- I'll take the 5th(amendment) Undecided.

Yup!! Arizona!! Grin LOL! Grin

Unless they should play San Fran(2-13)...then they would lose three times in a single season to the same team Lips Sealed.

I heard a vision like yours about that long ago, only he was taken up between Heaven and the Earth and was asked to choose. Although it seemed nothing more than the temptation of Jesus I was hearing about in his own words, that is, until now. Thank you Evangelist for your vision as scriptures came froth.

Ex. 7:17-20;
Zech. 3:3-7;
Isa. 1:18;
Rev. 6:9-11; 16:3-9; 7:11-14.

Mark 1:17 And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

Actually, the odds are against it, but they are mathimatically alive.   Just goes to show ya how bad things are in the NFC.

Yeah no kidding, anything that begin with the letter A in football is over rated  Grin. Arizona is playing at home YaHOOooooooo, I'll get to watch some other team play instead Kiss.

If the Jets don't take the Rams out, then St. Louis will need some help from the Falcons against Seattle(their IN no matter what). But, a couple other games are also in a do or die situation, like Minnesota vs Washington. So should the Rams fail, New Orleans vs. Carolina will be waiting in the wings, Lips Sealed one of them will WIN(unless they should tie Grin).

AFC Games on the NY Jets out come...Indianapolis vs. Denver and Pittsburgh vs. Buffalo.

I was resolved for the first round draft pick, but having 2nd round to beat the PATS is always nice too.   Grin

I kind of got the impretion, that the PATS were looking past the lowly phish.   Was a good game...nice to win for change  Tongue

 Cry I forgot it was monday yesterday. I knew the Pats were PATSY Grin.

Disciple for Jesus.
E'lo-i, E'lo-i, la'ma sabach-tha'ni? which means, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"(Mark 15:34).
First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you(Romans 1:Cool.
