DeLenn,

Abortion is murder. Period!

For a number of years I spent countless hours in front of abortion clinics, protesting and counselling women. I can tell you first hand ,that most that work in the clinics are very hard hearted. Most are in denial that they are really killing babies. Many have had abortions themselves. The anti-life folks will tell you it's all about the women. But in honesty it's really about the money. If abortion was so great for women, and they were really that sympathetic, why don't they donate their services?

A number of years ago, there were some women who went undercover into an abortion clinic. The clinic (which is now closed) was reusing the urinal speciman cups. A veternarian clinic is more regulated than a clinic.

Roe v Wade was all based on a lie. "Roe" who's name is  Norma McCorvey was never raped, but rather, she bore a girl child who was adopted. Norma is now fighting to reverse Roe v Wade.

A great resource of information is Life Dynamics. They document the horrrific practices of the abortion industry.

Symphony,

I get the drift now. Your first statement was unclear.

In regards to the pilot, may the Lord bless him for his boldness!

The Colisieum time is approaching quickly though!

This  reminds me of when President Bush told a Muslim leader that "we worship the same god."

Pluralism is alive and well on planet earth.

65  Theology / General Theology / Re:The Lord's Church is NOT an Organization on: February 07, 2004, 10:05:48 AM
Any church group who operates under the auspices of the 501(c)3 status is an organization. This is a proven fact. When the American Church took "the mark" of the 501(c)3 they exchanged the truth of God's Word for the Lie. When a church (corporation) takes the tax exempt status, they are limited by the IRS what they can and cannot preach from the pulpit. They are no longer governend by Biblical standards, but rather the message of the gospel is dictated by the government.(just look to our northern neighbors in Canada)

However, take the Chinese house church movement....there are millions of Chinese Christians who refuse to be a part of the Three Self Patriot Movement (TSPM) which is the "official state church".They risk life and limb, to be able to worship the Lord in spirit and truth. Many have referred to the TSPM as the "harlot", which they refuse to be joined with.

So in essence the True Church is not an organization. It is governed by Gods Laws not mens.

Here is an update of the plight of our brothers and sisters in North Korea. Very Sad! It's all reminiscent of Nazi Germany.

I Brake For Jesus,

The Bible is the guide book on punishment for crime. The reason God gave certain mandates is for the victims. God is a merciful God, but He is also just.

I would encourage you to read Deuteronomy 21 :1-9 The law of an unsolved murder.

The Bible is also clear about pre-meditated murder, and manslaughter (accidental).

If I were to err, I would err on the side of the victims, not the perpetrators.

Psalm 119

Question? Can you find anywhere in the Bible where one of God's servants did not execute justice, but rather led the murderer in a "sinners prayer"
68  Entertainment / Poetry/Prose / Re:School Prayer on: February 02, 2004, 04:46:21 PM
Judgenot,

How true!

I read this quote by Karl Marx recently, dated 1848. The "roots" of public education have been wicked for a long time.

"The education of all children from the moment that they can get along without a mother's care, shall be in state institutions at state expense."

The communists in Russia had a saying that went something like this: "Give us your children until they are twelve, and we will have them for a lifetime."

The breakdown of our public schools started long before 1963 when prayer was taken out. It started long before Darwinism.

Back to your poem though......the words penned, describe a nation that has turned it's back on Jesus Christ.

Surely its up to the people he most hurt - the people of Iraq - to decide how to try him.  The role of the west is to assist them in ensuring it is fair and just, and is seen to be such.

Quote
Saddam should have a public televised trial, by a jury of his peers. And once a verdict (guilty?) is given, he should be publically executed with a sword. For those who live by the sword should die by the sword.
's not a trial if you've already decided the verdict and sentence.  It seems inconceivable that anything other than guilty is appropriate, but if there is no possibility of anything else then its not a fair trial.

And how is justice served by televising it.  That only serves to make a fair trial harder.   It should be recorded, so that it can be proved to be fair if that is ever disputed, but televising it is nothing more than voyerism.

Voyerism usually denotes a form of sexual perversion. How would televising Saddam's execution fall into that category?

When Saddam's son's bodies were displayed for the world to see, it provided closure for some of their victims. (Those women who were raped,  became pregnant, then had their babies murdered before their eyes.) The people of Iraq deserve to have a visual picture, so they can sleep better.

AS far as a trial goes.... he should have a jury of his peers (Iraqi's). The Iraqi's should be the ones who execute the sentence out.

Tibby,

Thank you for the clarification. And your retraction is accepted.

God's Word is very clear, that whoever sheds innocent blood, his blood is to be shed. For there is no peace without justice.

Saddam should have a public televised trial, by a jury of his peers. And once a verdict (guilty?) is given, he should be publically executed with a sword. For those who live by the sword should die by the sword.

The death penalty is not vengeance, it's justice, and a deterrent to those who commit such heinous crimes as Saddam has done.

The blood of thousands are crying from the ground.

Tibby,

Again, what information do you have to prove that this site supports Stephen White?

If there is error on the part of any ministry, I certainly would want to know.

I'd like to see them CITE their reports.

I also have a problem with a site that supports Craig Stephen White. Has been quoted as calling College students evil, and that is why he "hangs out" at College's. He has also been convicted of raping a 14-year-old boy. I find it hard to believe ANY group who supports this man.

Tibby,

Stephen White did not put up this site. Please give me the link, that links him to www.Bushrevealed.com

Reba,

I'm with you on Clinton. I was so relieved when that wicked man left office. Although, I did not vote for G.W. in 2000, I was so happy that Al Gore was not elected. (When I found out the Bush was a member of the Skull and Crossbones secret society, God would not allow me to vote for him)

Although, Bush appears to be much more conservative and friendly to Christian ideals, he really isn't. One doesn't have to scratch the surface too far to realize that he is "big government" and even "unconstitutional" government ( Patriot Acts I and II). Under his watch we have moved closer to a one world religion and government. Of course, the Lord is allowing all this to come to pass.

There is another option for voting this election cycle and that is the Constitution Party. They are the only party with true Christian principles.

75  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Re:Cindy Jacobs info on: January 31, 2004, 12:32:30 PM
James,

The prosperity gospel is a false gospel, birthed in the very pitts of hell. I also refer to it as  "blab it and grab it". How does this "gospel" coincide with the gospel of take up your cross and follow Christ. It simply doesn't.

It sounds like you've already come to the proper conclusion, that the "gospel"  Cindy Jacobs is promoting is not of the Lord.
