After Sir Salman Rushdie was attacked in New York last month by a Muslim intent on fulfilling the murderous 1989 Iranian fatwa against him, the BBC’s Dateline London program ran an interview with the Palestinian commentator Abdel Bari Atwan.

Atwan said on the show that The Satanic Verses, Rushdie’s satirical novel for which he attracted the fatwa (“religious edict”) was “blasphemy” and “offensive.”

Rushdie, said Atwan, was “very, very cruel when he talked about the Prophet Mohammed and his wives,” which was also “very, very dangerous.” He added: “About 90% of the people of the Muslim world believe that freedom of expression [is] practiced only to insult Muslims.”

This is based on the fact that Greece was once part of the Ottoman Empire. Bahçeli is proceeding from the assumption that any land once ruled by Islam belongs by right to Islam forever, which is based on the Qur’anic command: “Drive them out from where they drove you out” (2:191). This is the same rationale that the “Palestinians” use, and witless and/or opportunistic Leftists fall for it eagerly. Watch for it also in Spain.

Bahçeli, of course, has it precisely backwards. While Greece was indeed part of the Ottoman Empire until 1821, the whole of the Ottoman Empire itself was on stolen land. Stolen from whom? The Greeks.

Afghan female student sexually assaulted, beaten by Taliban official

An Afghan female medical student, Elaha, whose father was a former general in the National Security Directorate said that she was sexually assaulted and beaten by a Taliban official.

Elaha, an Afghan student, published a video message on Twitter claiming that she was forced to marry Qari Saeed Khosti, the former spokesperson of the Taliban's interior ministry.

Elaha, whose father was a former general in the National Security Directorate, said that she was raped and beaten many times during this period.

Heavy rainfall has killed over 1100 people and destroyed over 100,000 homes in Pakistan.

Christians have historically told by Muslim charities that aid can only be received if they convert to Islam.

One Christian village in which many mud homes were completely destroyed received no aid from the Government or local Muslim Charities.  Villagers believe this is because there are no Muslims living in the area.

An elderly Hindu man from Mehrauli, a Muslim-dominated village in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh has filed a complaint against a few Muslim youths in the neighbourhood, accusing them of threatening him with severe repercussions if he does not accept Islam. He also alleged that the accused barged into his house and assaulted him. They ransacked his house and threatened him with life unless he converted to Islam.

In the complaint filed with the Kosi Kalan PS in Mathura on July 22, 2022, 60-year-old Tejram named Tahir, Tarif, Aashi, Amir, Idrish, Gunna, Amir, Amsar, Babbu, Shabbir and Sagan as the accused. The victim further alleged that the Kosi Kalan police and local officials were acting on the accused’s orders and that his plea was being ignored as a result of their clout and terror.

Now Salfit District Governor Abdallah Kamil has “issued a series of important decisions” of which one brings the term “Jews not allowed” to mind. It specifically “forbids” Palestinian businesses to “receive any settler” – i.e., Israelis/Jews. Whoever violates this rule risks closure of his business by the PA Security Forces:

Uttar Pradesh man booked for ‘triple talaq’ to wife, because she ‘served dinner cold’

New Delhi: A man from Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, has been booked for adopting the illegal “triple talaq” method to divorce his wife in April, because she allegedly served him a cold dinner.

According to the police, the wife Umra approached them with a complaint, nearly five months after being “divorced”. Following which, she was recently able to file a first information report (FIR) against her husband Mohammed Salman and three in-laws.

Iranian women allowed to attend domestic football match for first time in over 40 years

Tehran (CNN) Hundreds of Iranian women attended a professional domestic football match in Tehran for the first time in over 40 years, following a ban on women attending sports stadiums.

Five hundred women were granted access into Tehran's Azadi stadium to watch a league match between Tehran-based Esteghlal FC and visiting team Sanat Mes Kerman FC, from the city of Kerman, the country's semi-official state news agency Fars said on Thursday.

Women were separated from men in the stadium and entered through a special entrance via a car park, according to the Iranian Football Federation website.

Assam govt bulldozes yet another madrasa following arrests of its Imam, religious leaders

Guwahati: The Assam government continued its crackdown against illegal Islamic institutions with terror links and demolished third madrasa following the arrest of its Imam and religious leaders on Wednesday.

Visuals surfaced on social media where a couple of bulldozers were seen demolishing Markazul Ma-Arif Quariayana Madrasa, located at Kabaitary Part-IV village in Bongaigaon district, in Assam.

Reportedly, this is the third madrasa demolished by the Assam government following arrests of 37 persons including Imam and Madrasa teachers linked with Al-Qaeda Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) and Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT).

Daughter forced to execute her own mum by kicking away her chair in barbaric punishment by Iran’s brutal regime

A DAUGHTER was forced to execute her own mother by kicking away the chair as she was hanged in Iran.

Maryam Karimi received the barbaric punishment which is in line with the country’s brutal regime after she killed her abusive husband.

According to local reports, her husband had refused to grant her a divorce.

The woman’s father and only relative Ebrahim tried to convince him but to no avail- so the distraught father assisted his daughter with the killing.

Christian Woman Killed By Militants

On Saturday, August 27, suspected Fulani herdsmen shot and killed a Christian woman while she cleaned her church building. 

The woman, named Lyop Dalyop, was cleaning the Church of Christ in Nations in Bangai village when armed men allegedly ambushed her and killed her. An attorney who directs the Emancipation Center For Crisis Victims in Nigeria said that the incident occurred around 8:00pm. 

The Fulani, who are majority Muslim, are the world’s largest nomadic ethnic group. While most Fulani live at peace with their neighbors, militant Fulanis, having been radicalized by extreme Islam, have emerged from their people group with jihadist intent.

Who are the students protesting against women’s choice of attire?

A group of Dhaka University students took position in front of the Raju Sculpture, thanking the High Court for its recent observation regarding women's attire in Bangladesh. One after another, similar demonstrations were seen at Jagannath University, Jahangirnagar University and several public and private universities. All of them protested against women’s choice of attire.

A closer look at the matter showed that none of them informed the administration about the demonstrations. Some universities have already launched a probe into the identity and intentions of these students.

The matter has left human rights activists befuddled about what could have made the student wings of the ruling party as well as the Tablig-Jamaat activists to take up the same cause.
