Wiffle Ball!
Hose!
Matchbox cars!m (Hot Wheels if you were cool)
Balsa wood airplanes that cost 10 cents at the local 5 & Dime
Big League Chew (gum)
Catching Minows in the stream
Big Wheels
Digging for Earth worms
Star Wars figures

DW,
That is very cool!  Where I grew up my neighbor was way into collecting them.  I bet that would have interested him immensely!

Yes all the candy seems to have gotten smaller. Remember how big Hershy bars used to be. I also used to love

Chick-O-Sticks
Sweettart ring ( I remember wearing it and pretending to be engaged to prince charming Grin)
Wax lips
Cracker Jacks (And being excited about the cheesy prize in the box. Remember the tatoos and if you were real lucky you got a ring)
Bit O Honey
Slo Pokes
Pop rocks
Pixie Stixs

The Kroger store here carries them right now.

I always liked the home made stuff better than the store bought ones.

Rock candy

popcorn from my dad's garden with homemade fudge topped with walnuts from our back yard

peanut brittle

buckeyes

hand cranked ice cream in the summer and hot homemade cider in the winter

OK, let's see if anyone remembers:

You go to the drug store and ask for a tiny bottle of real, liquid cinnamon. You soak tooth-picks in the cinnamon at least overnight and you have a really cool tooth-pick that releases a pretty strong cinnamon flavor for hours. The little cinnamon bottle is a little bit taller than the average tooth-pick, and you can soak about 20 at a time. The longer you soaked it, the stronger the cinnamon taste was. Some of them got so strong that they would burn your lips.   Shocked
