Why would you repent of something that is not a sin?Are we as christians suppose to minister the word to others?

What verse says NO WATER?Think about it,Jesus was Baptised to fulfill all righteousness,to start his ministery,are we not to minister the word of God?

Completed Word Of God means all of what the Bible teachs has come to pass.Is that true for you?

Are we in agreement?

John 16:23-24
23-And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.24-Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.


Need more proof of Authority?

Thank you Petro.I would like to discuss the New Covenant.Did the New Covenant Start at the last supper?Also i would like to look at the name of Jesus as spoke of in Philippians 2:9-11

After reading that can we conclude that the name of Jesus is authority,powerful?

Jeremiah 31
31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day [that] I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

Is this the New Covenant?If so i need some help with verse 34.

1.Explain to me how gazing upon my Savior on the cross and thanking Him for what He did for me is the same as worshipping an idol?

I hear ya,i beleive that spirit baptism is part of the new covenant,i say new because in acts 2 we see the spirit come to dwell with us on a regular basis.In the OT the spirit would come and go,and not always be with the person.Now the spirit dwells in us.For water baptism iam not certain,iam thinking is was part of the old covenant,since Jesus had not died yet water baptism was used for the forgiveness of sins.I feel it is very important for us to understand the new covenant.Ive never been taught about the new covenant,ive always known the new testament.

Back to the original post.  I see Christ crucified on the cross and am reminded of what He did for me.  At my Parish we have a Crucifix behind the high alter and Christ's knees are bloody and He has wounds from His scourging.  I cannot think of a better way to reflect on His true Sacrifice for me.  How easy it is to gaze upon an empty cross and not fully appreciate the pain and suffering He went through to save a lowly soul as me.

Remindes me of Moses in Numbers 21

21:8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
