Hey, I think that tattoos are a good way to witness to people.  I think that when the Bible talks about not getting Tattoos it more has to do with that day and time.  Back then getting tattoos were a type idol worship.  I think it all depends on the motives of your heart.  If you are doing it to be rebellious or something then yes it is a sin and you shouldn't do it.  I think you shouldn't get tattoos because of the danger of getting infections and things.  Those are my thoughts. 

:-*I don't think that books, T.V. shows, or movies that promote violence and witch craft should be read or watched by anyone, kids teen or adults.  I was raised in a non-Christian home and it was those kind of things that i chose to use to entertain myself.  Now I live with a Christian family and we are very careful with what we read and watch, but because I was not careful when I was younger the memories and images are forever stuck in my mind.  Even the smallest things now scare me and I definitely wish that my parents had cared enough to explain why those kinds of things were wrong and not let me watch them.  I find it very important as a teenager not to let those kinds of things enter your mind.  They desensitize you and hinder you from hear the voice of God.  He can't not be where those kinds of things are and therefore if you let yourself dwell on such things you are separated from the one Living True and Holy God.  If you are into those kinds of things there are good Christian books and movies that one can read without sinning.  There are many good authors who write scary book or book that deal with witch craft that honor and glorify God.  What ever we do we must be careful to guard our minds against the evil things of Satan.   

 :-*I think it is fine ot make believe and pretend that Santa is real as long as everyone knows the truth.  In my house we tell the true story os Santa Clause, but we also set out the milk and cookies as well.  We all know that there is no such thing as flying reindeer, but we set out carrots for the anyways.  It is good to have such things taht kids can believe in and have fun with as long as you are careful with how you present it to them.

 :-*In the Old Testament God required His people to offer animal sacrifices.  The innocent blood of the animal is what allowed them to enter the presence of the Almighty God.  There were five steps to the sacrifices.  Each step had a different significance. 

The first step was to bring the animal to the entrance of the tabernacle.  This was the offerer's act of worship

The second step was for the offerer to place his hands on the head of the offering.  This symbolized dedication the animal to God and the animal being the offerer's representative and substitute. 

The Thirds step was for the offerer to slay the offering.  The signified the offerer accepting the punishment of sin. 

The fourth step was to sprinkle or smear the blood of the offering on the altar.

The fifth step was to burn the offering on the altar.  This symbolized the offering ascending to heaven with the smoke. 

My question is what was the significance of sprinkling/smearing the offering's blood on the altar?
