Hello Flower, Welcome to Christians Unite forums. We have some of the best Christians around.

"Flower", wasn't that the name of the skunk in "Bambi"? I guess I should warn you, I have a sense of humor.

Yes that was her name.... hahahaha, but I was thinking more of flowers that grow. My favorite is Lilacs..... so pretty, and they smell so good... just another beautiful thing God gave us to look at :)

Welp lets see, I'm married, have three kids, and one grandchild. Gerard and I have been married for almost 23 & 1/2 yrs now, our children are Angela who's 28 and has a son that's 7, Rob who's 21 and just went back to work after being off for a year because of a back injury, and then Nathan who's 18 and is in a christian blues/rock band with his dad, and another dad/son.

All of us, but our daughter has given our life to our Lord Jesus Christ, including our grandson, so he needs prayer because of his mom not being saved, and her too.

Except for our grandson we all got baptised together. We were going to a community church at the time that didn't have a tub, so we were batised at the Baptist church. It was nice, and something we wanted to do, not something that we felt that we had to do.

The Lord has blessed us immensely, more than what we deserve that's for sure. Right now Gerard and I are getting used to being empty nesters, however I think Gerard is taking it better than me... haha.

Welp I probably tired your eyes out by now, so I'll end this now..

take care, and God bless

I know what the empty nest is like. Both of my children are grown adults. Right now, one is in Montana, the other just moved to California.

Soaring with Jesus.

Roses are very pretty too, they were my Mom's favorite. She could grow them real good too, not me tho.... not a green thumb on me.

How long have your kids been moved out now? We lived in Montana for awhile. Plentywood for 6 & !/2 yrs, then Sidney for 2 yrs. How does your son/daughter like it there?

Welcome Flower!!

I'm also one of the resident grandpas and have been married for 32 years. I really enjoyed hearing about your family. Our nest is empty at this time, but we do get to visit fairly often.

I sincerely hope that you enjoy Christians Unite.
