Mos? What's a mo?

Hmmmm. Could be an abbreviation for a dance....gone for 3 or 4 mosh pits.  Or, could be a new name for a span of time of indeterminate length....quite a while, 3 or 4 doolies, kinda like "a fur piece", or "just down the way". Or, could be a nickname for a state, or a person (Missouri or Moses). Or maybe just wanting to be here a "little mo(re)".

More than likely tho, it's referring to a friend (Moshe) symphony met at a bar mitzvah.

Or maybe a month or two...or three....or four.

Mohair is harvested from Angora goats, llamas and alpacas. Fine hair from yearling and younger animals is used for clothing and apparel, older animal hair is used in carpet, upholstery etc. The buck's fleece is heavier, but often coarser than a doe's.
 Colored Angoras come in a wide array of colors from black to brown, from tan to red, from silver to blue roan. The result of the color diversity, is a range of mohair fiber colors that cannot be duplicated by any modern day dye.
Colored mohair is popular with handspinners and used either undyed or overdyed for a more robust color effect.
Colored animals are slightly hardier than their white counterparts and have less grease in their fleece.
After shearing, angoras are very sensitive to wet, cold rain and whole range flocks have been lost to chilly weather. Often, a strip of fur (called a "cape") is left along the spine to prevent them from being chilled after shearing.
