I thank you for your prayers and have a praise report since posting this. We had a talk about everything I had on my mind. I took a bold step and told him that I was praying for him to know God, to want to know God. My husband and I talk about everything and to keep my spiritual side inside was just too much for me, so we began to talk. The Holy Spirit moved and my husband could see a glow about me, and he told me that when I found a church to go to(still looking), he'll go and also attend Alpha Courses with me.
I praise God for this, as he also enjoys watching the 700 Club with me, in which we received a word of knowledge from Pat Robertson tonight about our finances. We both were very moved!

Hmm, I saw the movie. For some reason it didn't sit well with my spirit. Maybe that's just me.

Part of me feels it may be gratuitous violence yet on the other hand people having to see just how badly Jesus paid for our sins, may bring some of us closer and be more thankful.  While possibly drawing others to Christ knowing how much he cared for us.

I believe that with the graphic nature of the film, Mel is trying to portray just that. To see just what Jesus went through to the best of his knowledge and imagination. So we can see what great of price Jesus paid and just how ugly and expensive sin is.

I have just come back to God after a 5 year absence.
I married my husband before I decided to give my life back to God. He is unsaved. I feel very distant from him now. We have no spiritual bond and it has affected us greatly.
Please pray that he may come to know God and God will heal our marriage.

Thanks Graham. I have heard of Bradford, and do know of those that exist in London, however I am in Midlands and those are not very easy to get to.

But I may have found a church in my city, it's an Assemblies of God, affiliated to the US ones, Praise God!

I'll let you all know how that goes!

Also pray for Jay Smith, who is an American Apologist in London, debating with Islamic followers every Sunday. The threats on his life come very frequently.

There are churches here, many demoninations, but it's nothing like back home where Revival is easily found. I was shocked to find that Islam is making a rapid increase here and 48% of London is Islamic. I pray for this country and the US whenever I can. Pray revival to hit the UK!

Hello there. I am an American living in the UK with my husband. I am desperately trying to find a church and other Christians. I've logged on to other forums in the UK and tried so many searches for churches, but nothing is speaking to me.
Please help find what I need through prayer.
