Not everything. It doesn't have stories about the dealings with us individuals for instance.

But Blackeyedpeas, America is a melting pot of cultures, why be so insensitive? You said yourself that other nations promote other religions. I don't know if I would like to be discriminated against in Taiwan. After all freedom is what America is all about isn't it?
Also, you know how our legal system works, if they start allowing us to put these things in buildings, it will open up the door for other religions to do the same, then there will be all sorts of blasphemy all over the place. Don't you think not having in put in public buildings is better than having all sorts of junk?

Theology / Apologetics / Re:Why Do People Go To Hell?

Well, if you believe in the grace of God, then your relatives being in hell shouldn't matter because once you are in heaven God will make everything ok.
Besides, if you can't convert your relatives, then are they actually worth anything? If they go to Hell, they deserved it.

No, no Tibby, Joseph was a carpenter. And that's why Jesus's cup was made of wood. But still you are right, it wasn't his cup was it?

Oooooky! So, Tibby, is there ever a time that we stop obeying governmental authority?
Look at what the Nazis did. What if our society did new things that were just as bad, but everyone agreed with because it seemed like the right thing to do at the time?
And yes, it could happen. It happened to the German people, an entire country! they aren't stupid just because they are foreign.
I want a scooby snack.

Something you all have to understand is, America is an extremely litigious society. If you look at Europe, it's not like this. It's much harder to start a business here. Of course we are capitalists, and this makes our society geared this way. More socialist are not as much so.
But we don't really have separation of church and state anyway. And the way our law system works is, when someone brings up something, then it is changed. Like how I can't be president because I wasn't born in the United States. I'm sure if there were a supreme court ruling on that today, it would be changed. After all, I lived here since I was 2 years old, so there is no reason i'm much different than anyone else. Then it would be discrimination against nation of origin.
But i stray...
The question is, how would you feel if people posted muslim beliefs somewhere in a public building? Or even Satanist beliefs in the public building? Or Islamic fundamentalists? Wouldn't you be offended?
We can't allow that to happen, naturally we have to give up something to gain a whole lot more. People of other religions, who have dedicated their lives to totally different belief systems will find the 10 commandments as blasphemy and will be offended. To allow us to have the 10 commandments on a government building would be to allow other religions to put theirs on government buildings.
What do you guys think? I for one do not want to see Satanic Rituals carved on our government building.

Prayer / General Discussion / Re:Heart Trouble

I think most heart disease is because people don't exercise enough and don't eat right. My grandparents exercise every day and have been their entire lives, and they are almost 90 and still healthy and able to walk.
This heart thing seems to be more apparent in the US than in Asia.
Also, apparently a little alchohol is good for the heart. Drinking a teaspoon of red wine every day is good for you. Anything more than that is overworking your liver.

Colossians 3:18 Wives, be subject to your husbands; that is your Christian duty." But it doesn't stop here. NEXT VERSE (19): "Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them."
But that statement says that women have to be subject, which means they must do everything their husband says, while all men have to do is be nice...
But I guess we should just accept everything on faith and not question it.
